I was down for the fried snickers! Agree with ya. Pretty much ANYTHING is fried there! ha

Just remember, BBQ and grilling are two separate things.

Yes, BBQ is the greatest cuisine ever.

Hmm, I wonder if you barbecued an enchilada, how would that taste? *heads off to the kitchen*

Moving to Houston in a couple weeks... any suggestions about fun things to do in the lone star state?

Where in Houston? City proper or out north? Wait for fall -- its much nicer than summer!! haha
Same question, poetic. I just moved away after living there 14 years. *edit * oops, I remember now! Lots of interesting eclectic neighborhoods, restaurants, etc. where you'll be. Hermann Park, downtown, the sports venues, museums, world class opera, theater & symphony. Not to mention shopping! (Galleria, Uptown, or funky east Westheimer) Go south to NASA and Galveston, go north to The Woodlands. Go waaay west to Austin & San Antonio, or come up to the Metroplex. Anything from luxury resorts to tubing on the Guadalupe River (You may want to find that early on, since you'll hit town in the summer!) Just about anything you want to do, you can do in Texas!

And same comment, okatty35! It was freakin' AUGUST when I moved there from the desert! Talk about a shock. But fall is great. And wearing shorts & flip-flops at Christmas has a certain charm. ;)

The Heat is ON and summertime is here. Maybe a little lake action at Broken Bow but not sure.
Have a great weekend!
