Great... and I'm going there for work soon.
Could be worse.
You could be going to work in Texas City.

Ah... Lubbock's not so bad... Try going north...![]()
See, one can get used to anything, given enough time.![]()
Takes a long time to get used to the "asshole" of Texas max...just think, Hell will be here in a couple of months.... Wind, 110 degree days.. no rain... Satans playground....lol
Thanks for reminding me, RG... I was trying to put that part of the year out of my mind.

Anytime max!! Lol... But you would have been reminded soon enough anyways....![]()
I can not wait for the hot hot hot daze of Lake Travis.............100 degrees and 90% humidity is perfect....
I grew up where the humidity is very low........ Mojo Country.......lmao

I'll be down at Barton Springs. Nothing like a dip in 68F water when it's 100+
Besides, if we don't get some rain, there may not be much left in Travis
Definitely can't beat Barton Springs... Practically year round!
Krause Springs is far nicer, but it's like an hour drive from the Y in Oak Hill.
I can cycle to Barton Springs.
Sounds like we have quite a few Austin people here. We need the Houston people to show up.
Probably more Houstonians around than are willing to fess up to it.
And you, Houston? If so, what part?

I ride my bike to the Springs a lot in the summer... Never been to Krause...
