Ahhhhhh good morning Texas! Got the new plants in the ground, going to start some blackberry scones in a bit and then its off to the garage to work on my daughters dollhouse and some work on the custom furniture that's due soon. What's everyone up to today?

Yo tambien.

And now unless you want to know my name, I am telling you to sit or stand here, or asking you to smile (portrait studio necessity), I am asking where the bathroom is, or I am ordering one more beer...we have exhausted my knowledge of the Spanish language.

This is why I don't even attempt to speak Spanish anymore

There's always that awkward moment when they keep speaking and I no longer have any idea what they're saying. Then they're like... "what the hell, I thought we were gonna speak Spanish"

LOL... I am white enough no one expects me to actually speak Spanish.

Checking in. Still kicking. Nice weather. Going to crash shortly. Avoir!

Where she lives, it's the mouse sized roaches I'd be worried about.

Okay... there is one nice thing about the Panhandle... the lack of water means the worst of the creepy crawly buggy critters don't live here. We may have flies the size of hummingbirds, but the roaches are little.

Also means shaking out the shoes 'for ya stuff yer feet in.

Frankly the big roaches are kinda gross, but they're mostly outside bugs. The little German roaches live inside and get into everything, which is freaking nasty.

yeah... those are pretty gross.

And spiders and scorpions... not so bad if you remember to look for them. They're more afraid of you than you are of them.

Thanks, Max!

No shit. I hate those tree roaches. I found one crawling on my son when he was a baby. I almost lost my sanity. Those tree roaches are bastards!

holy shit!!! They live in trees too! No...oh, no... Now I have to worry about the buggers falling on my head. :::shudder:::

Nightmares... I will have nightmares.

I don't know if they actually live in trees. That's what they're called around here. I fricking hate them. They're fiends of Satan!

I have a friend in California that was telling me about tree rats that do live in the trees and eaves of houses.. now you're telling me about tree roaches.

I had enough trouble when I found out that roaches can FLY!!:eek:
