The woman, Kate Cox, 31, of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, sought court authorization for the abortion because her fetus was diagnosed on Nov. 27 with trisomy 18, a genetic abnormality that usually results in miscarriage, stillbirth or death soon after birth.
Cox, who is about 20 weeks pregnant, said in her lawsuit that she would need to undergo her third caesarean section if she continues the pregnancy. That could jeopardize her ability to have more children, which she said she and her husband want...
Ken Paxton said in a filing that "Nothing can restore the unborn child's life that will be lost." So that's OK. Because an abortion will not resurrect a dead baby there's no need for one.
As of now the only legal birth control allowed in Texas is to look at a picture of a shirtless Ted Cruz.

They can see the trend of Texas becoming more and more blue. They’ll do anything to hang onto power.
The “Texit” part was amusing. If Texas left the USA tomorrow, the Republicans would be done nationally. Goodbye 40 electoral college votes!

Not a bit surprising. Idaho is probably second, however.
Interestingly, the more active certain organizations with the words "Freedom" or "Liberty" are in a state government, the less freedom and liberty the people are likely to have in that state.
