Thanksgiving Menus

Well, the ham sat on top of the potatoes and onions, then we built the tomatoes and apples up around it. It is quite tasty.

All low-carb in Casa de Imp (and scaled WAY down this year 'cause it's just immediate family):

Turkey (obviously)

Sausage dressing (sans bread & incredible!)

Pumpkin casserole (much like the sweet potato variety with pecans on top)

Cranberry salad (made from fresh berries)

Coleslaw (from scratch, of course)

After:

Kona coffee (whole -- not a blend) with heavy cream, steamed

Nutrolls (my own creation) ... some with chocolate chips, some with dried cherries

Egg nog (homemade)

I'm salivating ... and I just put the bird in the oven. We'll eat early. None of the olfactory torture all damned afternoon. :cathappy:

Today we ate in work, not the best food but it was hot and free. (I love free food.)

Tomorrow I will be firing up the smoker as soon as I get home. Hickory smoked Turkey, yum. (Yes I cook it in the smoker, it takes a while as it should but it is well worth the wait.)
