I've been talkin' about taking over Canada for years. We should run it - you all would be better off. And check this out - (again no brag just fact) - I'm drining scotch with Brian Mulrooney - and I told him so. He just laughed and thought I was the asshole that I am. And don't just think it's you guys either - Mexico too. Legalize pot after we take them over. You guys can manage the business. As a huge union (we'd have to have the Panama Canel of course) of Northern America - we'd have it all. Better for everybody.

I know, Bobtoad, (you gotta remember that to B.C., Ontario is 'down east'.......you guys in New Brunswick are WAY down east......but yes, way downeasters have also sucked the hind tit.........those poor fucking Newfies........but what I meant was, Ontario........you know, by cream I meant, if Germany or Japan approaches Canada to set up a factory, where does it go? Of course, in Ontario, or Quebec where all the votes are and that's what I meant by fairness. If each of our provinces had more power like U.S. states, we would have more fairness.....and thus, more unity. God, if it weren't for our natural resources in B.C., we would have had NOTHING out of confederation. The way we see it out west is like this:

They (Upper and Lower Canada, Ontario and Quebec) started a country then they needed more money so they went looking east and west for some suckers to help support them.....making the great transcontinental railroad the shining attraction.......bah!!!!!

Like I say, I think the Canadian people have done incredibly well, no thanks to Ottawa!

Sorry, I just noticed your tag now. Yes, all political systems attract shysters, and THAT is all the more reason for a system like YOURS (USA) with lots of checks and balances..........a working Senate.......members of the House of Reps who can vote THEIR CONSCIENCES or the will of their constituents! Up here we have none of that. Those fuckers can do whatever they like when they get in power. For instance, that is why we had the metric system forced on us, and GST and gun registration and on an on........we should NEVER have changed to metric without having the USA change with us.......it is ludicrous to have a different system of measuring with our biggest trading partner.
