Do the scores dip or rise after the list is printed on the 1st?

You'll likely get a bump in views from the list, and maybe some new votes. But I doubt you'll see a big swing in the scores in either direction.

It is truly hard to say. I've had stories go in both directions. Voters on 750 word stories are hard to predict.

Yep. I wrote a teacher/student story 2 years ago that they loved. I write a Lunar New Year story every year that they hate
This year they hate the teacher/student story and love the lunar new year story. I gave up trying to understand a long long time ago.
