The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Welcome to the café.

We do things a bit differently here than most of the rest of Lit. But here’s how we roll.

1. If ya wanna talk about your jacking off habits there are probably other threads that are better fits for you.
2. We’re not too sexual here. Think of it as a bunch of old folks at a bar or at a coffee joint. We also don’t hit on the women here. There’s about 673832 other threads for that.
3. No politics, religion or drama.

Everyone is welcome but we are protective of the vibe we have here. This applies to all who visit this thread.

If this feels like a good match, welcome... if not you may have better luck on another thread.
We love you wonderer

Coyote. I stand corrected either heavy winter coat. Checked fish and game and wolves are almost extinct in new jersey.
Young male wolves will travel long distances from what I've heard...

We have packs of both. The howl from each is very distinctive. Coyote is high pitched, almost like a yipping little dog. Wolf is very deep, and menacing sounding. You KNOW it's big! Makes the hair on your neck stand up, especially when walking out of the woods after dark.🤣

He went poof!!!

Well today was interesting…it started on the Merse hoping for geese. It was a clear sky and the temperature was now 19f with a heavy Haw Frost. As the sun rose the whole world just sparkled. The geese didn’t show but I had a photoshoot with a pal for some product placement with Sam. Got some great shots of him retrieving for the Christmas product range. He also did a few posed for me.

After that it was a quick warm up, shower and out with the management for lunch. Finally a trip to the dentist which will ultimately make my wallet hurt more than my mouth.

Now sitting in front of a roaring stove with a pisssy tea having borrowed some electric heaters for a couple of rooms. Heaven knows when parts for the boiler (furnace) will arrive.

We are managing and tomorrow should see the cold starting to abate.

I hear them alot here there's a pack of around 12 on a ridge not too far from me.
It’s a very haunting sound. We have them all over the farm. I see evidence of them, but I’ve literally never seen a coyote live. (Except for dead ones on the side of the road.)

Whenever the fire whistle goes off, especially at night, they go apeshit howling! It’s pretty cool to hear.

Not sure but the squirrels the last few weeks here have been burying nuts all over everyone's lawns.
I’ve been trapping the hell out of them!!

Havahart. Then relocating them to the middle of the woods several miles away.

When I first started doing that several years ago, one of my neighbors said “ you know they have incredible homing instinct, and can find their way back from up to 30 miles away…”

I’m not sure if I’ve had any repeat customers. 😂

Glad the weather will break. That seems exceptionally cold for November.
