Our neighbor made sourdough bread last week to go along with the venison pot pie. Since I’m trying to avoid carbs, I held onto it till this morning and had it for lunch. Toasted it and put butter on it: YUM!

I like sourdough bread, but sourdough toast only has to be slightly overdone before it turns into a series of miniature daggers, slicing through the walls and roof of your mouth.

LOL! We went to the caretakers class yesterday. Be a good nurse?! I thought I just had to help her walk a few steps and cook! I didn’t know I’d be bathing, changing dressings, cooking, etc…
