Great idea, though I admire your fortitude in limiting your cheat days to semi annual. Mine are semi hebdomadal at best!Let's celebrate the time change by going to the best breakfast place in town and ordering the most carbo loaded breakfast. We can call it our semi annual cheat day...![]()

Is the moral of the story that some are just too hot to handle?
Ok, seriously. I want details about how those heads got put together. So you don't have to be.
I heard back from Engine Boy. He's in Jersey - I had kinda guessed as much. It's gooder'n having to go to NYC-the-place-not-to-be. He wants to sell the whole kit-and-caboodle. I told him, okay. I'm formulating a price - ten grand. No more. Last guy up that way I talked to made me an offer I don't refuse - he knocked 37.5% off his asking price over the phone if I'd come get it. I did. You're seen the piccies.

Pretty good.. I need to get moving. 8 qm feeling lazy50s. Wild spring weather. How ya doing Missk?
Well telly will be my best friend then.....Telly (Calypso's buddy and Ethyl's victim) will happily stand and allow himself to be brushed. Calypso would, too, if I were the one doing it. The landlady doesn't groom them. They're all short-haired so it really doesn't matter much. At this time of year, Telly has mud where he rolls on the ground and grinds it in.
I bet he'd stand still for a bath, too.
I always have a list and a plan....but the shopping gets annoying so I only get half so I can get out of thereWat was pretty good on one of these once upon a time. It's kind of like riding a bicycle - one never truly forgets. So, one is on the shooping list.
Speaking of shooping lists, Wat made one and forgot to take it to the store with him. No fear, as everything on the list got bought.

I'm half assed planning a pretty similar type of project. Well, maybe more like 7/8 assed. I have a block already. Need to scrounge heads...but know what I'm looking for.

Guy jumps in a cab in NYC…starts chatting with the cabby…”How do you find your way to Carnegie Hall?” Cabby- Practice, Practice, Practice!

Get a Friesian! Warhorses I’ve been told. There is a plan to hunt down a couple more poodles. Maybe a draft poodle. They're yuge.
Omg I will love them all.... there is a rescue called gentle giants where they rescue drafts and draft crosses.... some of them have been dumped for slaughter after working for the Amish for years and years..... because they aren't taken care of and break down.... you should see their hooves.... people should be shot...... I am no fan of peta but if you are gonna have an animal take care of itThere is a plan to hunt down a couple more poodles. Maybe a draft poodle. They're yuge.
Percherons i believe were used for similar...I may be wrongGet a Friesian! Warhorses I’ve been told.
I think so also. Heavy Cavalry horses when that was thing and later caisson and cannon haulers.Percherons i believe were used for similar...I may be wrong
I know a few people in the Society for Creative Anachronism ( I know, I know not a great source to cite). There are two who ride horses as part of their re-creation and they both use Percherons. Take that as you will.Percherons i believe were used for similar...I may be wrong

Shire horses carried knightsI think so also. Heavy Cavalry horses when that was thing and later caisson and cannon haulers.
My wife’s grandfather was in one of the last true horse cavalry units, the 1st Cav, before WWII. When Pearl was bombed, they traded in their horses for Mech, and he started his island hopping journey till wounded in the Solomon Islands.
