I have heard you thoughts are 99.999% pure. We do get to see some of the young prospects. There are 3 of the Phillies top prospects. One kid is throwing at 100 mph. Another 18 yo is slamming homers. You can hear there cleats hit the dirt as they walk up to home plate.

Well, Friday is here. Hope everyone gets off early and has a good one. Yard work as the weather has been warm but not humid, so it’s time to take advantage.

Momma calls and says half the house is not getting electricity. Went over and traced all the plugs that aren’t working. Any electricians in the house? Outlets wired in series? One the top plug didn’t work but the bottom did…this is the suspect I’m guessing? Anyhow, weighed time/money value and actually found an electrician so got him on it.

Ready for summer. Here’s some LCMZ to get us in the mooooooood.

I did yard work today, too. Mowed the front AND back yards! I finished just before it started to rain. 🌧

My friends wanted me to go dancing with them, but I decided to stay home. After a shower and dinner, I just don't have the energy.

Good morning perky party people. Hope you all enjoyed your Friday night weekend appetisers.

Washing up is done and I have prepared breakfast.

I have taken oat milk (how does one milk an oat?), polenta, tofu, quinoa, sunflower, flax and poppy seeds...and put them all in the trash, where they belong. Sausage, eggs and bacon are available, along with hash browns, tomatoes and mushrooms. Oh, and fresh coffee too!

Good Friday everyone. It’s 6:26 and it’s already started. My big boss sent a text to our office group chat asking our admin specialist to set up a Teams call with the division chiefs. The problem is nobody pays attention to the chat at 6 am. Also, she’s on leave today. Since I was already in, guess who had to set it up? Oh yeah, also my direct supervisor is out of town so I get to sit in on the call in his place. There isn’t enough coffee for this crap this early.

Well a busy week aside of picking up the dog.

Monday fishing with my pal in his eighties on Scotlands best fishery. I drove and he taught me. And boy did he … in 6 hours I caught 5 fish but hooked and played another 7 which I lost. He landed 23! In US terms …he whipped my young ass LoL

Wednesday I helped teach children with educational difficulties. They were pretty seriously disabled with a variety of conditions. Anyway we got them all to catch a trout each and take them home for tea. The excitement when they hooked and tried to land a lively trout was infectious. I will be doing it again next Wednesday with a different group.

Then it’s usual chores and community work!

Better today but still a touch of headache left, but not as much "migraine brain" as usual (at least I don't think so???)

Headed to lunch now - will lie down for an hour and hope that helps, too. We have 2 staff out this afternoon or I would have considered taking the afternoon off myself.

Thankfully I have a few "light tasks" I can work on for the rest of the day.

I'll be back again once this clears up enough for recreational screen time.

I'm glad you're feeling better, Likes, but don't push it! Come back to us when you feel ready. You know that too much screen time can trigger or exacerbate headaches.

Long day. Mom still isn't home from the hospital and I had anxiety about going back to work today. It seemed she would only eat if I fed it to her so I ... Blah.

I remember securing those giant TVs to the wall using straps thru the vent slots. Now, with the slim ones, it seems you could just use a thumbtack and some yarn.

Brother tried yesterday but she would only take 3 bites. They asked her case manager to include a note for staff to help feed her. I'll go by there after work today (it's 0300 now) and see if I can get her to eat her dinner.

I'll ask the nurses station if they had any luck with her earlier in the day.

Long days and I have to put my daughters off at night. I come home cook dinner and go to bed. They understand tho...I hope.
