Cleaned up gravel out of part of the yard. Maybe about 1/3 of the area that needs work this spring. Four full tractor buckets, about two cubic yards of freeking gravel. I cannot move. After collecting, shoveling and dumping it, I sat in the cab of the tractor staring at the ground trying to figure out how I was going to get out there. I almost decided to spend the night in there...

Good morning denizens of the diner. A crazy day as friends want to park 3 cars in my drive while they walk to the stadium for college commencement. The dive only accommodates 2 cars and I have a guest who parked on the street. This friend is a decent lady but she is always last minute and never plans. I give her a pass as she has a good heart and it’s her daughter graduating. Oh well, it’s only a day.

When I go over today I’ll flip the whole box. I think I’m going to just replace that suspect receptacle and see if that works. I should have done that to start with but I had just bought a new outlet tester and was itching to use that!

Starting a repot of a juniper that was meant to be a bonsai but it ended up in a pot and became a yard ornament for 15-20 yrs. Going to start the process of making it a true bonsai today…if I can find the right pot. I’ll post some pics of the process if I can remember to bring the phone.

We had a wonderful lunch and walk of their 40 acres. There are so many wildflowers out, i cannot recall them all. More are emerging. We plan to go out again next week. Now I need to remember to take photos.

Got the eighth subproject dumped on me. Also the largest and most impactful one. I can’t do it by myself and will def need help. I was tapped out as it was.

I have taken oat milk (how does one milk an oat?), polenta, tofu, quinoa, sunflower, flax and poppy seeds...and put them all in the trash, where they belong. Sausage, eggs and bacon are available, along with hash browns, tomatoes and mushrooms. Oh, and fresh coffee too!

I have actually been experimenting with Chia Seed Pudding. I need to find the right fruit or topper - a bit boring otherwise.
1/2 cup Oat Milk + 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds
Mix, refrigerate, mix again at 10 min and 1 hour then let chill overnight.
