And last night we were looking for some fun movies and found them. A triple feature of 60s biker gang flicks.

Mini Skirt Mob, Hells Belles and Angels From Hell (which actually had real bikers and Sonny Barger in it.) I kept on looking for Wat Tyler to make a cameo but we did not see him.

Tons of bad dialogue and bad acting. So bad it was… well it was not great… but it was fun.

Good morning. Not much sleep as woke up at 1 from sinuses. Then got them settled and the old dog got me up at 330. I have been trying to catch up on sleep but not successful so decided to do laundry and just caught up here a cold rainy day today.

I just recieved two lavender plants from NJ. I hope they grow here in FL. I am on the cusp of Zone 9 and 10 close to the coast. We will see.

I have lavender in a giant pot by my driveway. It lives there all year and has now grown feral. We're zone 8, I think.

It is at this point I was going to include some pix…but they’re too large and the new iteration/update I can’t figure out how to make the pix smaller? Any help on how to do this…I’ll post them.

I have a Samsung phone. In Gallery, to change the size of the photo, I click on the edit button on the bottom of the page. Then, in edit, there will be three vertical dots in the upper right corner. Click on them and the resize option will show.

IDK how to do this on an iPhone.

The “finished” potting…after the original potting…but It didn’t turn out half bad. You can see the white on the trunk and after the sulfur bath, it should turn a brilliant white. I’m also going to hollow out that knot…or maybe crimp it to make it look like a lighting strike…can’t decide.

The plan is to eventually shrink the pot to make it sort of conform to traditional bonsai esthetics, but I tend to break a LOT of those rules. If it’s a happy tree and thrives I may just leave it another twenty years! . My granddaughter will inherit it!

I love the pictures of your progress! And, this pot is gorgeous!

Well I got that nap and put productive nature into gear. I have finished 5 loads of laundry (due to Airbnb guest), made pear crisp for tomorrow morning brunch and cinnamon oat scones for afternoon tea. I am getting ready to watch baseball on this cold wet rainy day!
