I had a wildfire briefing at work earlier this week (our meteorologist at work prepares these forcing sessions like wildfire session, hurricane season, severe convective storm session…)

This summers wildfire forecast is not great.

Fire is one thing I'm really afraid of!

Our massage therapist is this great hippy lady. Super quirky but funny and a good massagist (made up word)

Unfortunately she is retiring…

I so agree. My long time friend was promoted because he was a high performer. After a month of being a supervisor he went to management and said I want my old job. He knew he did not have the people skills for supervision. He was smart to do so and very happy thereafter.

How very astute of him! I'm glad he recognized what made him happy at work.

Another hot and humid day. Going to do the grandpa taxiing, then brunch with my GF, and off to visit with our friends in the country. Here is one of the wildflowers we took a picture of.

I should have taken 1/2....I am pain pill naive..... so I dont need a lot...

I'm the same. Low tolerance for pain and also low tolerance for meds, especially narcotics. I'm always careful to let the anesthesia people know.

I did however sad news about my X who was sent to the ER for evaluation. She tried to run away from her apartment. Her dementia is worse and the kids are upset. I am their emotional support. Dementia is cruel to their loved ones.
