Purple sweet potato sort of nutty vanilla flavor and the put it in a sweet dough similar to cinnamon roll bread without the cinnamon.... slightly sweet and the texture is magic.... and it is purple....!!!!

Yuk.....

My diet is so crazy these days with numerous intolerances... I pretty much eat the "Foods to Include" (with a few key omissions for intolerances) and cannot tolerate most of the "Foods to Avoid" without getting pretty... uncomfortable.

Always thought I was just a picky eater... now I have a diagnosis that explains the madness.

But for most people, yes - this can be a difficult diet to follow.

Oh - they're baked, not fried!! I will need to look for them in my area. I've had taro and really liked it: Poi in Hawaii and Taro frozen yogurt. I hear Ube is similar... a bit sweeter and can be creamier.
