well like my ol one eyed grandad use to say "You can get milk from a porcupine, but some things aint worth the pain and trouble"

my grandad lost his eye in a sawmill accident..he had a glass eye for a while, but he use to go to the bar and get drunk and take it out and roll it back and forth across the bar. his socket got infected so they justr ended up sewing it shut after they cleaned it out.

we could have a special display for hedgehogs..set up before they entered the porcupine den..that way they would be lulled into a sense of carelessness..that would boost bandaid sales

My sister is visiting and I was sweeping up and cleaning up the patio near the pool.

She likes the wind. Finds it refreshing.

I was telling her how I really dislike the wind. It’s my least favorite atmospheric condition.

Really? Oh we have steady rain… just not this spring. Usually we get heavy rain then it changes ….. and really pisses down before it rains properly
