And right back atcha, hon.![]()
It's good to be able to talk about it. That's something I'm not good about doing. I feel fortunate to have my friends here and those IRL that check on me.The feelings comes and go close to the anniversary of her passing. I know many on here understand. I am glad I can vent here as my children and her children just begin to cry if we talk about it. The interesting thing is it seems worse the third year! Any the swings in emotion are shorter and less intense and yet there.
This morning I have been feeling sleepy and upbeat. Emotions are so unpredictable.
It does have 4WD. There's a setting for 4WD high and 4WD low. IDK how they're supposed to work. I try not to drive in the snow. Our snow, when we get it, is usually very heavy and wet. It also melts then refreezes leaving ice on our hilly roads.I do not know. It is a good thing if you drive in snow or slippery conditions. It is not a bad thing and only engages (Sends power to both wheels) if one wheel starts spinning.
He grew up on a farm in Kansas. His whole family, both sides, were farmers. Not so bad for kids growing up on farms who have listened to the Big People talk about it.
Not so good for city kids going out to visit and thinking they can do anything because they saw it done.
People forget: a farm tractor will kill your dumb ass inside of three seconds under some bad conditions.
If you don't get readers, you'll find your arms aren't long enough!I have only heard good things about the results. Maybe I would stop getting messages from my phone that I am holding it too close!
Then there's hope for me yet!Only recently am I getting longer sleep. I am not sure why but it feels good.
They don't realize they can float away in about a foot of water! It's still all kinds of soggy out there. It really rained its ass off. Wat was coming home during the worst of it and there was area flooding in low spots on the streets.
And of course there are the st000pids driving through the puddles in their shitboxes and hardly slow down. Electronic ignitions are harder to flood out, but still.
Glad to have been driving the truck.
Is this something for a class you're taking? Work?Hard... some of the pneumonics i didnt know. Some questions super easy. Some super hard....
Your 30% inversion sounds good to me. I'm so glad it's working for you! This Spooners is why any and all barroom medical advice should be run by our professional staff here at the 50+ All Night Greasy Spoon & Dive Bar!
For the record (and I should have mentioned this,) I use the tether that only lets you go 30 degrees. I don’t think I’ve ever gone full Batman mode inversion. The 30d works just fine. Once you get the balance figured out you can just ease past the level point and I can feel the effects.
Well, didn’t get out yesterday but will try again today. Going to be hot but hopefully not too crowded where we’re going. Hope everyone’s having a great weekend! On to some Morning Z…

Do talk with her PCP about it. I think there are too many side effects for older people with Ambien. Trazodone is a mild antidepressant that, at lower doses, is an excellent sleep aid. Her PCP will probably want to wean her off the Ambien.Thank you Lili! Never heard of Trazodone. I went by yesterday and we talked a bit about her sleep habits/patterns and I mentioned the Valarian MissK mentioned yesterday. She admits she’s probably addicted to it, so I think I’m going to have to talk to her doc about it. I doubt she’s mentioned it being a problem to her HCP or probably in passing telling them what she’s taking.
Some people have had good results sitting on an enormous exercise ball. Using it instead of a chair engages core muscles that support the back.I have one of those inversion tables, and I should probably use it more.
Ironically, working hard on the farm didn’t bother my back in the least, and I was lifting some logs to be split that were at least 70 to 80 pounds
It’s sitting in a fucking chair that is kicking my back’s ass.
Sounds like a great solution!I need to get busy..
I found a solution for the paint on black hardware..... my face exfoliator pad... scrubbing on one side soft on the other. I have a 3 pack so one was sacrificed
I think we all realize you might be a little busy with the Goddess!Sorry I haven't had/made time to respond to all you wonderful friends...
Did you learn nothing from the talking to I got because I used a chair to change a light bulb?!?!?Well my idea on how to get to the edge of ceiling in pantry is a no go. The chair didnt fit through the doorway and the other option felt scary.... I dont have a lot of room to work with and what a pain
I hope things get better for you fast, Impy!I've had better weeks. Out of my control, so I'm trying not to stress about it. Good other than that.
OMG! This looks really good!View attachment 2553245cabbage roll soup for dinner
I hope you're putting in a generator at the commune!
What did you get? Did mom get a new phone, too?

They don't realize they can float away in about a foot of water! Then EMS have to imperil their lives trying to save the idiots!

I wasn't a candidate for Lasik either. I think the most they are able to correct is a -6, IIRC.I am waiting for the day... I'm not a candidate for Lasik and by high school my correction far outstripped what radial keratotomy could correct. So cataract surgery it is... but unless you have obscured cataracts insurance won't kick in a penny... and it costs about 10x what Lasik does
Yes - those Morning Zen photos are fantastic, H!!!
IKR??I have "You can't handle the truth" running through my head but subbing in Wat for truth.
You always make me so tired! I stayed in out of the (excessive) heat!Good and busy day.
Also had some time for relaxing. Breakfast poolside.
Then it was off to work.
- mowed two properties we manage. Our neighbor there is a lovely lady whose lawnmower is busted, so we mowed and weed whacked hers too. It’s a small years so no big whoop.
- off to the garden shop where I decided to see if it was the chainsaw chain that was messed up. My cuts have not been straight, but I am also sharpening my chain myself, so maybe I’m not doing it properly. We’ll see!
- then to farm where we sold a shitload of wood over the last few weeks and I couldn’t be arsed to fill the bins back up - but finally did today. Split another 3/4 cord of wood, then stacked it.
- then home for more poolside relaxation, dinner and a little fun.
- and then we heard our generator kick on… no power! Should be back up by 10:30
25k steps… but not all of them were “steps.”![]()
