I thought the same thing except we lived in New Jersey.

Turns out it - it was sort of a thing.

On the other thread - the music challenged thread - a lot of other people had to put up with it too. Even people who lived in LA in Chicago.

My first recollection that I was getting older is when athletes seemed so much older and all of a sudden I was the same age as those athletes…

Then I was the age when a lot of those athletes were retiring…

Then I started doing the same shit my parents did in my 30/40s.

Then I recognized I was as old as people who I considered “old“ back when I was a kid.

What the hell!

I remember being in college, looking at how old the seniors were.
Now we're doing college tours with the youngest... :rolleyes:

Talk about feeling old. A lot of cute moms on those tours, so there is that...

My mom is an alum of university of Indiana. I am naturally pulling for them.

Altho Oregon was one of the schools I thought about when i was thinking abt grad school. I never went, but Eugene is a great university town.

Gin could count in moderation. My mom used to make us hot toddies when we got sick.

It was for the most part. Except for a bone headed move on my part. I've been wearing my husband's slippers around the house. They're a size 12; I wear a 9 in men's sizing. I didn't realize until I got to the gym today that I forgot to put my tennies on. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Re-screaned Momma’s back porch (Bushy Tailed Varmint damage), got a new thermostat for DiL’s Ol’ Chevy, got the truck inspected, visited Lowe’s for a pole saw to lop off Bushy Tailed Varmint abodes, saw some pansy’s and a Dwarf Mungo Pine that needs planting and may one day take it’s position as a semi-bonsai on the back porch…😅

In for a wee rest…waiting on SWMBO to direct traffic for aforementioned Mungo Pine…because whatever pot I pick…will be the wrong one! 😂

Did anyone catch that game last night? 😮. Barn burner…I couldn’t decide who I wanted to win…both seemed deserving for different reasons.
