I am not sure how the flare worked with kids, it was high enough off the ground that kids coldn't get to it.

You'd think so and yet... remember these? with the metal pole steps?

One of my brothers was caught up the pole with a screwdriver in his back pocket.
He wanted to know what was "in the gray box". He was about 6 years old at the time.
The power company came out and removed some of the pole steps so access was "too high for a little boy like him".

They came back 3 more times to remove more steps.

I take it merino wool has the same effect. I know it has different qualities than regular wool. I usually itch from wool, I could not wear regular wool long johns but merino wool does not itch.

Hmm... I may need to select a gift in Merino wool... try for me with a mind to re-gift if needed.

Bacon-n-eggs for supper. Bought eggs today - a dozen. Dropped the entire container trying to get it into the fridge. Five survived. Tears were not shed, but weasels were blamed.

Oh, got a call from the PM weasel. He was in full piss-n-moan mode, so Wat gigged him and he hung up in a less-than-professional manner. Then he call back with the senior PM. Turns out Weasel PM has ass-raped the schedule and sent it out. It was a non thinking moment on his part.

Ten more months, and it's looking long from this angle at this moment.
