Sorry to barge in the thread but I am steamed. Someone posed as my GF’s former MIL, she is still friends, inviting her to a party. She responded yes but that opened the contacts and I was one of them. So I get the invitation and start to respond but Google warned me so I backed out. Now the scammers are trying to hack my accounts. Fortunately I have 2 step authentication and other protection.

I needed to vent.

End of the season I like to get my kit cleaned and serviced as soon as I can starting with my boots. Its laces out thorough clean, dry and apply leather balm. I can hear a few grumbles from The Management. Yes they are on the counter top to warm and let the balm soak into warm leather. Yes I will clean up after.. just one pair left to do

What I love about cats: I wanna clean my boots on the kitchen counter, they don' care. I wanna rebuild a carburetor at the kitchen table, they only care about playing with the teenie bits. I don't wanna clean? They don' care. I wanna buy another motorcycle/anvil/tractor/dump truck, I ask them and they say, "meow."

My Out West business partner/former landlady said she had lived at her place for 20 years without barn cats, and that I showed up and two months later, she had two barn cats. And they keep coming.

One more day... one more day until the weekend
How did everyone else fare today?

I put a timer on to keep naps to no more than 30 minutes. And never take a nap after 2 pm. Then the naps don’t mess with my sleep.

That's smart. Know what works for your body and use tools to assist along the way.
So far, I'm good anytime before a 3 or 4pm wake up and no longer than a 3 hour nap. Likely to change as I age, but for now. I set anywhere from 2 to 6 timers depending.
