The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Good morning early risers of the diner. You are correct about cleaning up stuff from scammers. I checked on all my files recovered to make sure they are complete. Then I talked to the bank and got clarification on SSA check deposits to the old account. Money can go in and only I can get it put. SSA will only make changes in April so the March deposit was important.

I just have a few items to do but feel like the worst is over.

Thanks for noticing my absence.
Were you able to reach SSA? I am still unsuccessful.

I could only contact them online at the local office. Search for field office of SSA. Then answer all screening questions. Depending on your answers you may be directed to your field office. I my case, a change in direct deposit account, I was directed to their web site for that. The alternative is to go there and ask for an appointment. SSA is more bureaucratic than ever before.

I listened to this on my way home from Philadelphia. I could probably name about 30 more towns.

Although older mom and I know Oxford quite well. I grew up about 10 miles from there.

There are some fucking hilarious statements in this and worth a good listen
I know SFA about any of these areas but it's still funny. 😂
Seems Hollywood wants ya to think New Jersey is all dense urban neighborhoods and heavy industrial areas and ports. So not true.

That whole area around where @Wonderer67 lives is gorgeous!

At teh House. TDK, Ethyl, Panther . . . stuff seems okay. It's raining out and the temperature seems to be dropping. I got people from Teh South coming in tomorrow. Here's hoping that they don't freeze.
I lost a couple really nice winter coats when family from warmer climes would visit.
Sometimes on purpose and sometimes... thanks, mom 😂

ETA: Have a great visit!!!

There is no way to contact the local office. No matter how I answered the screening questions I was always directed to the local office or the phone number.
The phone number is never answered.
I showed up at the local office and was ignored. Told to call the number that is never answered.
All I want to do is get my report. It is now required to use login.gov to connect to the website. Login.gov does not believe my phone number is mine. As I stated before I have never used a mobile phone number as my identity. Cannot login to login.gov as they do not believe I exist. There is another way something.me. That is third party and I will not use that. When you use the number to contact login.gov they also refuse contact and say to contact SSA.
I will write a letter snail mail so I get some written response. Then start contacting my senator. What would be nice if the IRS would refuse my taxes when I pay them.
