So...

E10 (10% ethanol, standard blend) and E15 (15% ethanol) are minimally different. E15 isn't likely to damage anything newer than about 25 years old. Not any more than E10 is likely to. Many states already use E15 seasonally. The EPA doesn't like E15 during the summer, as it evaporates too quickly to meet standards.

Note, You don't want to mistake E85 for E15! E85 is 85% ethanol. Unless your vehicle was designed for it, you will cause problems.

Historically, the rubber used for fuel lines and other components in the fuel system wasn't designed to tolerate any ethanol. Adding ethanol damaged those components. The switchover to ethanol safe components happened about 25 years ago. Anything more modern than that will be designed to tolerate ethanol. Making a 5% shift isn't a big change.

You may notice a slight difference between E10 and E15, just due to the fact that ethanol has less energy per gasoline. That results in a reduction in power therefore an increased consumption for the same task. I would be surprised if anyone here could actually tell the difference. You may notice your MPG fall slightly, if you pay attention to that.

Posilutely.

Wat has found a couple of sources Out West for ethanol-free petrol for use in his old shit: old tractors, anvilmobiles, and the like. Allah knows none of that antiquated shit was designed for anything but 100% petroleum distillate. Also, anything that doesn't get run regularly, like equipment engines and motorcycles, should either be drained when they are put away or they should be run only on straight gasoline.

Face it, ethanol's fer drankin' . . . .

Very lucky they were open. We called, they were open for one more hour. We jumped in the car and headed straight there. Dog ALWAYS pees outside the clinic, so we just grabbed a container for the sample and took off. As planned, we got out sample just in time.

2 weeks of antibiotics. We'll see how it goes.

All y'all are good Critter Parents.

I should take Ethyl in to see if she has Sleep Apnea. They could fabricate a kitteh cpap machine for her, and I could lose a hand trying to hook her up to it.

I can hear our rock filled soil laughing a hearty laugh right now!

Starting the new garden the other year, I stared by taking out the "little" stones. (They were little, the biggest was only 30" across!)
Two days later we were down to the grapefruit sized ones. :ROFLMAO:

This will prolly be one of my (many) tasks when Garden Install time comes. So, park Bo close by and fill the loader bucket with whatever comes out, being sure not to mash any small goats who may be napping there.

We put 100 octane leaded aviation gas in our Torino.

There’s an airport just up the road… we pull up and fuel up.

They're gonna be building a new Buc-ee's a couple of interstate exits down from here, so they'll have the 87 and 90 octane no-booze gasoline. However and insh'Allah that Wat be moved Out West before they finish building it.

Up. Coffee. Ethyl is snoring. TDK managed not to do the Liver Leap last night and my entrails thank her furry kitteh soul. The H-D batt'reh should be charged so we'll see if'n it cranks up as I suspect it will. The rest o' the grass needs doin'. And there be rain in the forecast, so there's that. It's coming in with a cold front, so it'll be cooler much for several daze. And it's also Shooping Day, but the list is rather small this week.

Best wishes for your day today!!!

Thanks for the best wishes for the day Wat. Good morning to our denizens of the diner still sleeping in.

My teams all won yesterday. The Tigers did so just before the storms came rolling in. The rain was heavy and apparently the winds more violent than where I live. People are without power.

The UMich basketball team is in the finals for the first time in 40 years.

He says hi!

He’s very aloof and a bit of a scaredy cat. He was feral. But he’s a tough sonofabitch when it comes to mice and attacking feet from under the bed.

He’s not as lovable as he was when we came home from TN.

But we’ll keep him! 😉
In his kitty brain....

Where were you
I missed you
Lovins
Ahh you r still here
Hiyah
Must kill the feet
Who are u again
