I just finished a story about a 50-something and a 30-something starting a relationship. It took a lot of energy -- for one, because I have a difficult time imagining the 30-something who inspired the story wanting to get down with me.
Anyway, if accepted by Lit, I hope to turn it into a series about their relationship. I have an end to the series in mind, so it may be a four- or five-story series. I just don't know if I have the ENERGY to keep up with what she inspires. lol

It's warm here today. Perfect, actually, in the low 70s, clear, and sunny. Because we have no cloud cover, temps will plunge after dark to high 30s.

I did the ultimate old person thing yesterday and fell in the bathtub....when preventing my face from planting in the floor (stepping out of tub and my foot caught) i messed myself all upv

I just woke up again from a nightmare I was working back in the emergency room after 7 years away from the bedside with no training and they gave me the sick of patients and kept checking my computer away it was awful.

That does sound like a nightmare!

Yeah, all my muscles hurt my shoulder hurts from grabbing the sink and pushing myself back so that I wouldn't face plant. And my right leg hurts cuz that's what hit the side of the tub. Could have been a lot worse

Do you need some grab bars? A hunky attendant? A hoyer lift??? JK on the last one!

This will be a good week for me. Thursday is a public holiday so it's like a short 3 day week, a short weekend, then work half day Friday and then to the mountains Friday and Saturday night for a getaway, really looking forward to it.

Here’s some good news for the over 50 crowd to start the week. I came across an article in this morning’s Wall Street Journal that describes research pointing to Viagra as a potential treatment for Alzheimers. The article is paywalled so I found a report from the Cleveland Clinic that is one of the sources of research cited in the WSJ article. At this point, the studies just show correlation between Viagra use and sharply reduced incidence of Alzheimers, not causation. Controlled studies and clinical trials are needed but the data is encouraging.

Any cure for Alzheimer’s would be great. Terrible thing.
