The Andra_Jenny Show

Just don't plow any money into the dust-bowl. I don't think it's as productive as it used to be. There's a bigger picture here to be drawn and discussed, but I'm out of crayons.

:)

A cry like any other on this board!

Every single day of my life, since I started a family, I have had one simple goal. Everyday I make more than I spend. I save. I save a lot. Everything I own now, Home, Lake home, Vehicles, Guns, Jewelry, etc. has been bought cash (I mean, I will use the credit card, I am not one of those, I just always pay the balance in full).

Also, I am not republican or Christian, so there is no moral problem here, I operate on a strategy basis only. I may hate that type of a system, but I will not be so naive as not to use it to benefit my family. I must simply do the best for them in every single legal way possible.

On the night of the election, when I heard that a Daley was going to go help make sure that an election was being handled in a fair manner, I got on the phone to my financial man (who had a few choice words about my timing) and pulled everything out of the market (to lock up my profits) and put it into long-term vehicles and CRC land (based now on my faulty assumption that the Democratic party that I grew up in was quite adept at manipulating election results and I figured business would not like that outcome. It still amazes me that Gore did not prevail!). I do have my new money going in, I just think we will see 7,000 again before we see 12,000, but I am by no means an expert.

Answer your point?

Oh no.
Still on the first cup of coffee and outdoors is calling me.
We are having absolute picture beautiful weather. 85, no humidity, the drought has broken, p_p_man, it is greean and beautiful, but now I must go enjoy it for all too soon Kansas will turn, Gold, Brown, and Yellow, the perfect color to go with one of those huge tornadic systems, the ones that turn our broad, wide, skies, a sickly hue of green...

I see a hypocrite who rants away about how Republicans can do no wrong....and Democrats can do no good...who for all intense purposes...obviousley is a Republican...and unlike today...normally very rude, and I also see a {woman?} who doesnt really have a good rebuttal.

YOU ARE BUSTED AJ!!!!!!

If the US ended the CRC program two deaths would occur:

1). The death of the family farm (in the U.S.)

2). The death of agriculture anywhere else.

People bring this up often and quite frankly I have yet to be convinced why I should pay attention to whether or not the family farm survives.

This is a big issue in the frozen north as well. I'm on the hook for millions to farmers in the prairies because for some reason I should care about where I get my food from. I don't. If I get my apples from Monsanto or from Joe Brown, good ol' farmer the only thing that matters to me is if I gets my apples.

Crystal
glad you've taken an interest in the show.
Luv ya for it, and no, I never run, I just have a very full life and cannot devote countless hours, but while I getting my afternoon protein, I'll cover some old ground which you may have missed in the past.

I am not a republican, but I am from a strongly republican area where I am looked at with suspicion for my leftist views and being an avowed Libertarian (which probably makes UncleBill cringe and he probably wishes that I would return to the Democratic party from whence I came!) because the party of my grandfather and father has been hijacked by career politicos whom are very eavil and mean, Hillary being the absulute culmination of the movement began by the radical left starting with the Viet Nam war ang I grew up worshiping that pack of bomb-throwing leftist conservatives and now admit I was wrong.

Furthermore,
here in Kansas we still live the old life, one of the tenents being

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME

I take care of my family.

A year or two ago (as a volunteer firefighter I helped try to save the home) one of the members of our community lost their home to fire. Before the ashes were cool, we went through our home and gathered everything we could think of that that family could use or need, then we went to Walmart and then the grocery store. The Church put them up and the next day, even before the insurance company came to settle damages, the lumber company began sending supplies and we began building. By the end of the week, we had them in their home.

They never even had a chance to put a handout and no one here would dream of accepting anything other than a thank you in way of payment.

But thanks for continuing to tune in,

and be proud you're an Andra_Jenny reader!

a book recommendation

Check out Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath, EBW. Might change your perspective.

I can agree with you, and not unlike the Indians, we do see our way of life coming to an end.

Think of us as the last repository of an America that lived by morals and scruples as vs. the new America which live exclusively by law.

Whereas I felt that the Natives had something that should have been preserved.

I actually will take City folk over country folk for Morals, thank you very much.

Actually, when you think about it,
after our exposure to the new culture, and most specifically, its deseases, I am not sure than in the long run we could have sustained a viable, seperate, race, so to speak (trying to pick words carefully).

We are rather now like the Martian Chronicles, yes occasionally you see the Indians, but most are like me, not pure. We are becoming the indians as Americans.

I doubt this also. I think they probably should have had the chance though.

One more thing Crystal,

actually two words,

Capital Gains

Unlike the average Democratic Wage Slave of whom you are all so romantic about and will eventually get back everything they pay into the system and more,

while, I who provide for myself, my family, and our future,

Take it up the ass every single fucking year and know I'll neve, ever see a goddamned dime of it other than some SS which I will galdly take also

since I'm trading fucking dollars for nickles

POINT!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........................

AJ, baby, you need to remember that Kansas isn't the only state where people with good, solid family and community values live. Yes, lots of people have no idea of the kind of life you claim you live even exists. But you need to go easy. I don't know why you feel like 'your' people are being threatend and the some type of genocide is being inflicted upon you. I have to take this literally, because I don't think of what happend to the natives is anything like what you are experiancing.

No calvalry, no wars, no translocation of 'your' people, with gov't inflicted starvation, due to a lack of resources will occur by an inner working force of white men, who deam you as devils.
On behalf of the natives, I like to say...Get real. :) Use analogies that are more fitting please. If you are going to overexaggerate, make sure that you make it really off the wall, so that people know you are just goofy. I know that alot of what you say is, in some weird way, you just being silly. :)

So, since you claim to have good values, you know that you are responsible for instilling your ways into your children to ensure they'll marry like minded people, and be good, loving citizens and family members.

Rap music, half shirts and playstations can't ruin that if you are really as good a parent and citizen as you claim 'your' people are.

I happen to live in Ohio, and there are a lot of amazingly decent, downhome type folk here, including my family, and we are surrounded by cities that 'harbor' what you claim as evil. I don't see it as evil, myself, just misguided and useless. I never let it come between me and 'my' people. I just deal with the reality that it exists, and go on with my life.....

Some people may never learn. But if you know better you'll just teach your kids right and they'll teach theirs, and you'll stop trying to convince everyone that you've got it all figured out, and start having more fun.

If you use lit as an outlet for something, maybe you should take up kickboxing. :)

People: You have the total right to call it as you see it, and I heartily will agree most of the time, but if AJ agrees to stop pitching it, will you stop attacking????????????????????????

On with the show...........

You missed one thing, starfish

I am a quarter-breed, which is why I feel comfortable is talking about what happened to the Indians because I sat at my grandfather's knee while he told me what happened to his people.

And you are very correct that there are good people everywhere, witness the red on the election map and I have a lot in common with a lot of people who live between the mountains, Canada, and Mexico, I just argue Kansas specifically because it makes me more of a rube.

When you come from Kansas, everyone is better read, better traveled, more wordly, and you can never hope to compete. And just like in Josey Wales, that's my edge. My only edge. I always tell my opponenet, you are smarter then me, yes you have traveled more than me...

In the three strategies (musashi) this is playing perceive attack, retreat, attack and the only option I have to play (like Dubya, the dumber your detractors want you to be, the dumber you go!).

Here is my favorite scam in the whole fucking world and country folk will see where I am coming from. I buy properties out here for market rate (usually less), put some sweat equity into them and then go to the city and in various methods entice city folk to country living (which is really easy since they all seem to equally hate the city as much as I do). I inflate the price, usually around 20,000, but again, it depends on the property. When they get here, I present them with an unkept, rustic, somewhat slow person that they just salivate at taking advantage of. I usually let them snooker me into a 10,000 profit. The hoot comes when they actually move down, get to know me and get to know property values. They know I took 'em, everyone else knows I took 'em, but no one will say anything...

Meanwhile I have been accused of running from a fight. But as I pointed out with Laurel, it is always the leftists, who come in make one quick specious argument, portray you as mean an unworthy of talking to or of holding discursive thought, and then never come back to defend their lie (because they will use it again in another thread!).

I much prefer the elitists like Celeste the Body and ClosetDesire who just do a data dump of facts on you to avoid argument and then pronounce you too stupid to argue with if you do not want to debate them point by point, fact by painful fact always keeping a very near view of near things, while I much prefer to take a distanced view of near things... Just good strategy.

and in closing today's edition,

in response to so many of your comments, "AJ has scared me into not being a republican,"

Hey, I am not a republican, I think think they a bunch of sissie boys every bit as much as my buddy Carville does. I have no respect for them. I just hate the LEFTIES!

You left out...

...pseudo-intellectual.

CD dares AJ to find a single post where I called her stupid, but I am relieved to hear AJ admit she has trouble with facts...hers or anyone elses.

As for AJ's talk of sticking it to the city folk...it just sounds like more "jive". In fact, I think I'll consider AJ to be short for "all jive".

AJ lives in a virtual world where nothing is real and where she views the world at a distance through a piece of cheap colored glass.

Hey, good to hear from you!
Great to see that you are sticking with Liberal tactic # 2 to the very end!
Did you ever figure out that I snooker you on that other thread?

Is that why you are so pissed?

Besides, the rose colored classes, are I think, maybe from your generation,

you know, the ones that you view Hillary Clinton through!

Have a great day,

and be proud you are an Andra_Jenny reader,

and now off to finish framing in a door,

unless its a virtual door,

no, that a real sore thumb where I hit it with the hammer,

had to be real :)

Hey Carville, where are you goin'?

wanna fight awhile?

Oh, back from our commercial break,

You know at the Andra_Jenny show, we've been waiting in anticipation for Celeste the Body's return, because we have one burning question,

but first, the setup,

before she left I expressed my view that the democratic moon was one that was rather on the wane. Well, I was called stupid and had abuse heaped on me because as everyone knows that it is a truism,

That the party out of power always gets a win in the off-year election 2002,

but in her absence maybe someone else wants to answer,

now that the Democrats are in power in the Senate,

Is that still a truism to you!

Goodnight Brits!

Goodnight ClosetDesire!

Waiting to hear from you...

See ya tommorrow folks and I'll leave you with this thought...

THERE'S A REASON RUSH HAS 20 MILLION LISTENERS AND IT IS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE MIND-NUMBED ROBOTS, THAT'S THE DEMOCRAT'S CONSTITUENCY!

Pissed?

Sorry All Jive, you flatter yourself. Amused is a better word. Amused as I would be watching a kitten swatting at a fish in a bowl.

You should stick to the sixth grade, as you said, because unless I'm speaking from the grave "rose-coloured glasses" aren't from my generation. Guess your wisdom let you down again.

Try drawing on that great "Renaissance" learning you thumped about...

Friend, did you need an optic glass,

Which were your choice? A lens to drape

In ruby, emerald, chrysopras,

Each object--or reveal its shape

Clear outlined, past escape,

The naked very thing?--so clear

That, when you had the chance to gaze

You found its inmost self appear

Through out seeming--truth ablaze,

Not falsehood's fancy-haze?

(Robert Browning at age 77)

The colours you amuse yourself with are very pretty, but they are illusions after all.

Rush has twenty million listeners? Why should that be a surprise? In a country of 270 million people, 135 million are below average. I'd say Rush is scraping the bottom of the bell curve. You sure that's a club you want to belong to?
