The Animal's Den

We're off to quite the entertaining start, but for the evening I must away. I leave you with a final quote to ponder and perhaps discuss - bonus points for naming the author without the assistance of the interwebs:

Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

Ignoring the obvious crossing of definitions/interpretations...

In a sexual sense, which is most alluring? What do you crave? Do you crave power, authority, control......or do you want power wielded, authority exercised, control applied?

In a political sense - which is the most frightening to you as an individual?

Had a fun little interaction today. Noticed I was running low on condoms, since in reality they're necessary unlike lit, where pregnancy never happens (unless that's your specific kink) and herpes is a third-tier character in Greek mythology.....

Stopped at a local convenience store and grabbed a box, as well as a case of beer since my plans for the night involved the consumption of same. Mind you - the two are not tied together, I'll be spending tonight alone.

The geek at the counter saw my two purchases and quoted "candy's dandy but liquor's quicker, eh?" with a ribald grin resembling a yellow picket fence.

I couldn't resist, and replied "the beer's for me. She's one ugly bitch."

His face was priceless.:D

I do wish You'd quit with the name calling.

After all, I am but a delicate flower.

popping into the your den to say hello - may i ask? Are there piles of fur to sleep on here? Or do we all have to cuddle close together to generate some heat?

Either is good!!

I've read that about You on the bathroom walls! :p

I hope my name was capitalized and written in a shaky hand. If not, I've got to elevate my game

There is a fire when the outside temperature demands it, and after a good season a spare pelt or two on the floor.

sounds good to me - in the meantime - point me in the direction of the nearest naked body - erm - sorry - warm body :D :kiss:

....and now that I'm thoroughly amused by tonight's postings across the Playground, a humorous quote:
My mother never saw the irony in calling me a son-of-a-bitch.

Bonus points for naming the author/speaker, double points for the setting. As always, no interweb cheating!!
