The Animal's Den

Did you ever imagine when we first met, pet, that I'd be taking your most forbidden hole right on my desk like this?

Did you ever, in your most secret thoughts, hope I might do so?

It sure feels like you did.....

A new page, a new idea.....

Send me a question via PM, and I will post my combined answers if I get enough.

I will not, of course, answer anything that identifies me or gives my location in any way. I will not talk about my RL relationship status in any detail.

I will, however, answer honestly and openly anything you care to ask related to the images and thoughts I post on this thread.

Fire away!

The questions have begun coming in, so here we go!

What percentage of the gifs that you share are for your personal enjoyment vs. to keep the hungry masses happy?

This one is 50/50 for every image. I post images that fit whatever story or scene is in my mind at the time, so in that respect they're for my own enjoyment; a bit of "fleshing out" of what's in my mind, so to speak. However, if nobody read the thread, it would be a useless bit of extra effort, so I hope the ones I select are enjoyable for others as well.

Are you enjoying lit once again?

I am, so far. It seems those who made it ugly in the past have either forgotten about me or chosen a more responsive target for their trolling. The ignore function works WONDERS.
Do you enjoy reading? If so, favorite genre? What are you currently reading?

I absolutely LOVE reading. I couldn't pick a genre if I tried - it's the trite old "you might as well ask which is my favorite child" argument but, like so many other cliches, it's grounded in truth. I am currently on a bit of a historical bent, working through a number of studies of WWII (both theaters).

What is your favorite type of music?

Music is entirely situational for me. In the gym, I prefer heavy metal for lifting, pop and techno for running and rowing, and classic rock and blues for the warm-up and cool-down periods. When working, I prefer either jazz or Asian instrumental for the background. With a nice glass of wine and a book, one can never go wrong with a symphony or violin concerto.

Do you maintain any facial hair or are you clean shaven?

I'm clean shaven, though I occasionally get semi-lazy and wear a neatly trimmed three-day growth.

Any tattoos?

Yes. Sorry, but that's all I'm willing to share.

What is your typical work attire? (Jeans, a uniform, a suit, etc.)

Suits. Always suits.

How old are you?

Between 40 and 50.

The questions keep trickling in....

Are You anywhere near as primal real time as you are on your thread?
Very rarely. Perhaps my favorite aspect of lit is the ability to really explore the outer edges of our sexuality; to go to the places in our mind that we might be reluctant to visit in real life. The more primal and dominant posts, especially, speak to a level of trust between partners that can take a loooooooong time to build, if it ever shows up at all.

Do you have a hairy chest? Something I could run my fingers through????

Sorry, but no. My chest is bare and smooth. There's a bit of hair on my stomach, but it's not nearly thick enough to run one's fingers through....you'll have to go lower.

I  this answer. Primal/prey and dominance/submission (for me at least) are a dynamic, one that takes time and trust to establish. Otherwise, the actions seem superficial, and more akin to role play than actual power exchange.

Nothing wrong with role play, of course! It just lacks that elusive emotional element that drives the experience to a deeper, more intense connection.

This has been fun. Last couple of questions...

What's the most beautiful place you've ever visited?

This one is really hard for me to choose. I try very hard, especially when traveling, to be mindful and take in as much as possible. Because of this, I have many memories of single beautiful sights or moments; the places in aggregate are hard to rank as a result. I've found beauty in some of the ugliest places on earth, and ugliness in some of those considered the most beautiful. Of my recent (the last decade, say) travels, a few standouts:

-On a mountain hike in Asia, in the middle of a cloud. Everything had a soft, ethereal softening of the edges as a result of the mist. I felt like I was walking through a dream sequence in a period or fantasy movie; I kept waiting for someone to come crashing through the trees, sword drawn.

-Rounding a bend on an empty road in Scotland, suddenly coming upon a seemingly endless vista of rolling moors with a river snaking its way through them. The greens, browns and dark slate of the river just begged to be painted; a photograph was woefully inadequate.

-On a subway, the city is unimportant. It was crowded, and hot, and everyone was miserable as a result. Then, a young toddler sitting on his mother's lap found delight in a face she was making at him, and his laughter rang out through the car. It was so pure, the sound crystalline, made all the more musical by the fact that he'd not yet learned to be shy about expressing himself. Nobody in the car could help themselves; we all smiled and chuckled along with him. The lad instantly brightened every mood in the car, and we all went about our days with a bit of a lift. I saw many folks, when they reached their stop, hesitate for a split-second, reluctant to leave the little cocoon of happiness he'd created for us.

-Coming off the subway in a different city - a homeless man sitting at the entrance, his cup out for donations. A small puppy sat by his side. No leash, no collar, nothing stopping the puppy from venturing forth and seeking a more reliable source of food, shelter, protection....nothing but the bond the two had already forged. It was immediately obvious neither would abandon the other. I went into a nearby store and purchased a meal for each, and brought the food to him. He made sure the puppy ate first, ensuring it saw him watching over it so it felt safe while it ate.

What is your dream vacation?

Easy - the next one. I want to see and experience all that I can. I've traveled a lot, both for work and for pleasure, and I think what stands out the most is how alike we are the world over. The sights, the smells, the cultures, the foods - these might all differ, but the people.....we're all the same. Every time I visit a new place and make this observation yet again, I gain a little more hope for the world.

This answer made me tear up... :rose:
