I've rummaged around here long enough to have been blessed over the years to have a couple of wonderful women whose interests have aligned spectacularly with mine. It was magical for the time it lasted. Unfortunately I've also been on the other side too where all they wanted was the cum and run scenario.

To your point @LatinaCarmen1980 one should never compromise. There is someone special on the other keyboard with their own desires.

Thank you very much for your kind condolences. With the holidays fast approaching, I get melancholy and miss the attention, companionship and affection I had from my spouse of 18 years. Good news is I've overcome my depression and gained peace these 2 years. Now I'm ready to socialize and date again. I find it is difficult being 61 y.o, and a BBW but I remain hopeful that their is a man in this world who desires me.

Well I'm always envious of people who can do this. I was absent the day God handed out creative writing abilities!

Well it wasn't till after I retired and had some free time that my mind could even attempt.

I am still shocked I am able to write poems and song lyrics now as I always hated poetry.

As the grey hair is now taking over I appreciate art and poetry a lot. Just can't do either so I'm stuck enjoying other creative people. I can make spreadsheets dance...but still can't draw a stick figure without messing it up!

This is so true. The world would be extremely boring if were were all homogeneous! Exploring with other people here is amazing. Finding what they like and enjoy is wonderful.

I wish more guys would listen to this kind of comment! I'd love to hear what your experience has been of being messaged by guys, whether they get what you're saying.

Waking in the middle of the night isn't all bad, I find it is often my most creative time and allows me a chance to think outside the box.

It sometimes allows a different perspective that helps solves some irl problems.

Many a time I wanted to send out an angry expletive laden response but this relationship was one I truly cared deeply for and I am so glad I somehow mustered the restraint needed to not totally nuke the relationship.

It is not repaired as of yet and the door is just ever so slightly ajar but if I sent those tirades there would be no chance at all.

So if you find yourself in a similar situation with raw emotions getting the better of you practice restraint and maybe you can save it before irreparable damage has been done.

Type your responses out in a note taking app or use a voice recorder app and then sleep on it, review it the next day and really think hard before sending it out.
