Lisa blushed and said " You look great as well John thank you. I'll put this in the cabinet for later." She took the white wine and placed it in the chiller for him.

She heard him mention being early and smiled " I like a man in time Jim"

I like to get there early, I say "if your on time your late, if your early then your on time." I like what you did with the place here as Jon looks around

Lisa smiled" Thank you Jon I try" she giggled. She walked him into her living room and turned some music on for them and she went to make their plates. " You can make yourself comfortable Jon while I fix our meal" she said and headed toward the kitchen.

Jon pulls a long narrow table about the same size of the couch is long closer to the couch. I ask "want me to grab the glasses and the ice bucket? "

Lisa laughed shaking her head " Relax Jon your my guest I'll Get it "she said bringing their plates over for them then the ice bucket and wine and some glasses. She knew where everything was since it was her home and figured she would do it for them.

She brought over her electric bottle opener and smiled sitting across from him and said " Dinner is served".

Lisa this looks and smells wonderfully. Smiles an says, "I wish I could have seen your face when Ann came down the steps. Her face was priceless lol. Did you two have a good visit after I left?

Jon asked if he make a toast as he reached for the glasses. In his mind he was running the words he wanted to say, but didn't know if he should. "Here is to a start of the beautiful relationship and hopes for long friendship" Jon smiled to him self finally settling on that. Its what he wanted, he knew it was crazy to want to be with your mark but something about this woman was just so drawing to him. Like she had her own gravity making him want to stay near her.

Jon had tried to brush it off as he did his homework on a beautiful woman, but he knew she wasn't the first he dealt with. Even on paper he was interested in this woman. As Jon sat here he made his mind up he was going to try and save this woman in hopes if he could keep her from popping up as a problem he would never get that order to take her out. Such a sweet thing he would hate to lose tho he hasn't known her long. He loved how she was so playful but guarded when sitting for the short talk out back. Her offering to show him around while waiting for Ann to get here made him wonder if she liked him in some way tho he knew that was very doubtful. He just popped up into her world when she seen him looking at the house. And with her job he is sure she would have ran a check on him by now. Jon's mind went back to them falling n the basement as they fell with Jons head on her hips in the middle of her legs looking up at her still. How she got up to her feet standing over Jon's stomach. He wondered if Ann wouldn't have been there on the stairs would she have been so quick to get up and move from over.

Lisa smiled thanking him " Your welcome to come enjoy with me anytime neighbor..I love cooking and having someone to enjoy it with while I'm here is even better"she said . She blushed as he mentioned Ann's reaction to the awkward way they fell and laughed hard because in the position they landed in it looked like he was pleasuring her orally .

She grinned and said "Let's just say I'll never live that down she doesn't believe one word of me saying that we fell Jon"she joked and smiled staying Joey as he toasted. "to our new relationship"she toasted

Jon's face lite up to the toasts and invention. "To are new relationship" he says as he clinks his glass to hers then takes a sip. Jon says with a sigh "Ya that did look bad if she couldn't see my head was almost covered by your dress wit me only getting to look up at your face with out the dress seeing dress. I got a new toast idea, heres to good times" Jon holds his glass up with a smile.

"Say when do you work next?"

"To good times" Lisa said with a smile. She heard him ask when she next worked and smiled " I'm headed back for the weekend.. My job isn't really a scheduled one it's sort of like being a doctor when they need you you have to go in immediately."she said smiling

"Oh I see. I was thinking about heading back east to pack tomorrow, but if you want some company around here. I can put it off for a day or 2. You know that packing is so much fun and all. Maybe I can look at your pipes. If you want me to do a inspection. Jon smirks and says "I will plan to bring a chair with next time." Jon watches Lisa's face to see if she blushes at all about it. Jon says in a joking tone "Unless its Ann's turn to get a boost" Then you can tease her too.

Lisa laughed as he mentioned checking her pipes and brushed off the dirty joke having just met him. She smiled having hers already changed when she had moved simply because this was an old house." I've had my pipes changed Jon but you can have a look at it and I think Ann would no part in helping you out she's way too girly and she's married" she grinned

She said "and the chair is definitely a must I wouldn't want you getting hurt"

"Awwww ok, glad you got the pipes changed. Was it the same crew that did mine? Good to know Ann is married. What about you? Are you seeing anyone?" Jon pauses a few second then says "I worked to much to find anyone"
"Um speaking of not wanting anyone hurt, how do you feel. I think I landed on your legs more, and I hope I didn't hurt you."

Lisa smiled " Can you believe I'm happily single?"she joked. "My pipes were done by a friend who owed me . He does a good job but I wouldn't know from a female point of view.. You can check it out and I'm not hurt ... Are you ok Jon?

Jon smiles and says "Huh you where on top of me? I never knew." in a playful one

"Ya I would love to check out your pipes and anything else you can think of. Only after dinner tho. I want to enjoy your fine work here."

Jon smiles as he starts eating. He thinks to him self the pic in her file dose no justice to her good looks.

After a minute or two he asks Lisa "Is there anything you want to know about me?"

Lisa smiled as he asked if there was anything she'd like to know about him and she said beginning to eat as well " Tell me everything Jon... Where you grew up .. If you have family that likes to visit.. Kids.. Someone your seeing?"

Well as a kid I lived in a house out in the sticks, and I helped the rancher that had got land around us. He ended up buying the house when I was out of school. I invest my self into the jobs I do. Working on the ranch had taught me how to basically build a house tho I never did shingling so your out of luck there. In the past 31 years I have dated some but they never lasted. Most of the female where to demanding. As you know I am moving from out in the DC area the company closed so I am starting new as I have no ties out east. Never had kids. If I find the lucky lady who can keep up with me but be independent then I can look at a long term relationships and kids.
Not much really to tell sadly.

Now someone like you, peaks my interest a lot. And being good looking with a sense of humor makes me all that more interested in you. I could find my self wanting to settle down with a woman like you from what I know of you in this bit. Your very easy to talk to.

Jon eats a few bites of food and say "its just little ole me". Then takes a sip of wine.

Lisa listened to him as he spoke to her and smiled as. He finished and she giggled teasing " Is that a proposal John?"she smirked joking with him . "I've umm actually I haven't dated a man in 2 years. I've been really busy with work and most men like playing mind games and being dishonest and I'm pretty good at catching those things.

I have tons of family but they live overseas I came here for college and loved it here so I stayed" she smiled " It's just me too John... The holidays for me are pretty non existent" she said and shrugged

Jon says in a playful one "lets recap, guy meets woman. Guy is into her. He thinks shes into him. Guy finds out they both don't have family near by and both like to throw them selfs into work and stayed away from dates." It isn't a proposal yet but in time I hope it goes that way. Lets just say I want to date you for now and see where it goes from there. Jon gives Lisa a sheepish grin as he laid it out for her and admitting to her and him self he is caring about a woman he shouldn't be caring about. Jon tries to tell him self if he can keep her from sniffing around his bosses activity then he wont have to kill her. Hes trying to do this to save her from danger she don't know is there. Tho he knows he cant change her, the best he can hope is to keep her away from area she shouldn't look into.

After a few second pause he asks "Will you spend your free time with me? Let us enjoy the days with each other being the only family we got around here as a couple?" Jon wanted to kick him self for saying that but something made him want to say it. What did this woman have on him that put him under such a spell. Part of him wanted to know as he hated it not being in control. The other part wanted to run off with this woman and live happily ever after. Never mind there jobs would put then on the other side of the spectrum one day one as the hunter one as the pray. But yet he wanted to love this woman who he knew mostly as a file and learing about as a person.

Lisa giggled looking up at him and smiled "Ok .. Let's say I do date you Jon.. How are we going to make time for each other? My job is pretty busy and yours as well I just want us to work out .. How about this?... Weekends off?" She offered knowing that would be best for her. She was getting deep into the investigation and knew that weekends were her time to relax.

Jons face lit up like a Christmas tree. Weekends sound grate! Should you want company on week days well you know my code just come on in, and make your self at home in the living room. If I am hanging out I will be down stair, but if am upstairs I will be working from home online. Jon wanted to jump up and click his heels together like some 40's musical guy. Jon was amazed that by her setting aside the weekends he would be so happy.

Jon asks, Do you have any plans for today? I was thinking if your ok with it. I would make a list of thing that need fixing and maybe tomorrow I could fix them if you pay me with dinner again. Jon smiles and says playfully "I don't think you will get a better offer then that anywhere in town"

Lisa smiled seeing the happy expression and giggled " So I take it you like my cooking? She grinned seeing he was finished and grabbed his plate. " I'm free for the day actually so you can check things out now actually and I'll pay you with as much dinner as you'd like Jon ."she grinned

" That is a good deal at least you aren't asking for sex like my electrician did "she laughed hard actually having that happen" Then I'd kick you out "

"Yes your home cooking is some of the best that I had in about a decade. Is it ok if I run home then come back and wonder around a bit or should that work wait a bit and watch a movie?"Jon Smiles

Lisa smiled enjoying their night " Let's watch a movie... I'm sure that we can rent something really good to watch Jon " she said and stood grabbing his hand and walking over to the couch with him.

Jon was only to glad to watch a movie with Lisa and let her lead him to where she wanted him. He smiles extra big when they made there way to the couch. He sat by the arm rest in the middle of her and the table that had the remote.
Jon watched Lisa wondering if she would sit close to him and reach over to grab the remote or grab it while standing. He dreaded the thought of her going to the far side unless to stretch out and lay down. Jon got a smirk on his face as he thought about Lisa putting her feet in his lap.
