Open!

Friday night. The biggest night of the week. And she was out with this guy? Mia could not believe it. His car swerved this way and that as they headed to a club downtown where he would stare at all the skinnier chicks than her. And she looked really good tonight! She had on a slim red dress that came down a bit in the back but slit low in the front, black strapped heels, her hair was down in its delicious red waves. Even her lips adorned a red lipstick that she hated to wear. It got everywhere. But here was her date

Complaining non stop about his ex, she smiled a corner of her mouth and nodded as if she were listening.

"Yeah the last few dates I have had were pretty lousy. I understand bad luck happening in the dating arena these days."

He nodded and continued to ramble on about his ex. Finally they arrived at the techno thumping club. With ID's checked they were soon on the dance floor. And here she thought it could not get worse. She watched him have what appeared to be a seizure on the floor, moving erratically and violently. Finally when she could not take anymore, she held up her hand and smiled.

"I think its time I got home. No! Dont worry, I will catch a cab."

But this was her friday night out, she was not ready to go home just yet. Her hand fanned the slight heat that attached to her skin as the crowd parted for her to go upstairs away from her horrible date. She sat at the bar with her legs crossed over each other and ordered a Jagger bomb.

"Rough night?" The bartender asked her. She simply smiled and nodded, sipping her drink.

Tonight she had put some effort into her looks excited to be getting out of the house. But now she was all dressed up for nothing.

"I'll pay you a hundred bucks!" he called out over the pounding music as he sidled up close to the woman at the bar, "Just throw your arms around me like you know me."

When she turned with her surprised look, he glanced past her and added quickly, "Please! And I'll pay for your drinks all night, you and the guy your with. Just ... pretend you--"

"Bobby!" a woman's voice called out through the crowd. "Bobby ... izat you...?"

He looked past her again to an attractive woman, obviously intoxicated and teetering a bit as she approached the pair. She was exactly the kind of woman he would have come here to pick up on, if it wasn't for the fact that he'd already done that a couple of Fridays earlier, and it had been a disaster that no man should ever have to live through twice in one life.

He looked back to the woman at the bar again, allowing his eyes to drop from her face to her body, then back up quickly once more. She was exactly what he would have come here looking for as well, but he was sure that she had to already be with some guy who was off in the bathroom or searching for an available waitress to order drinks.

He gave her his best sad puppy look, and begged just over the sound of the speakers, "Please...? Just one, convincing hug...?"

(OOC -- Feel free to describe "me"; I'm eager to see what interests you.)

I was stuttered for words but I leaned subtly to the right and saw the approaching woman. I smiled. Just my luck. A guy who needs an appearance and not a date. Boy this was fun. But I could understand where the guy was coming from, this woman did not look fun to even talk to. I looked the guy up and down and took in his outfit. It was not bad. He wore a black muscle shirt under a dark black and blue dress shirt. His pants were black and fitting on him instead of loose like most guys wore them. His brown hair was tied back to a ponytail and in one arm he carried a black leather jacket. He wasn't bad to rub your eyes on.

"Deal. Move closer." I told him.

He moved close and I threw an arm around him, laughing and smiling, sliding my hand in his shirt to rest on his chest. My dress hiked up to show a little more leg.

I was actually a bit surprised, not just that she took me up on my offer, but that she made it seem so convincing as well. She wrapped one arm around me, pulling our bodies together; I could feel one of her breasts, only lightly contained within the thin fabric of her dress, pressing against one side of my chest as the cool fingers of one hand touched the warm skin of the other side of me.

Instinctively, I wrapped an arm around her, too, finding the skin of her bared back as I pulled us even closer together and leaned down to kiss her on the cheek. I quickly excused myself, speaking close to her ear, "Hope that's all right."

I wasn't sure whether it was me pulling her, her pulling me, or the tight crowd of the club closing in, but suddenly our hips were together. I could feel her body pressing firmly against my groin, and I pulled back quickly, realizing with horror that I was already getting hard ... and she had to have realized it, too!

I pulled my face back and looked at her; I could feel my face beginning to flush. I apologized quickly, "Sorry. I, uh ... sorry."

I giggled and smiled at the man. The girl was getting closer but the apology he gave me was kinder than anything any other guy had done.

"Hey. Your human. Its ok. I just dont usually get those reactions from others. So thank you. Ill take it as a compliment. And yes," I looked over my shoulder toward his hand on my back, "thats just fine. So whos the girl coming at us?"

I moved my hand behind him to his lower back, holding a bit of his waist so that we were skin to skin. My heart was beating like a drum and my body was covered in heat from the situation. Granted it was a good offer but never had she been this, spontaneous with a man. It was as if she knew exactly how to act with this guy.

"The nightmare date from hell," I told her, glancing past her again and finding the woman stopped and staring with an expression that was part disappointment, part anger, part dismay. She was still teetering a bit as she seemed to be deciding on her next move, but all that mattered to me was that she was no longer moving toward me.

I looked to the woman before me and smiled. She was very attractive, not the runway model type but beautiful still the same; her features were exotic -- different from the make up models that advertisers wanted every woman to think she was supposed to look like -- and her red hair ... Well, all I could think was, Oh my god ... red hair.

I was suddenly back in high school, where three of my first four girl friends had been natural red heads or strawberry blonds. Every sexual first in my life -- losing my virginity, oral sex, getting caught in public, even my only threesome -- had involved red heads. And now, here I was, body to body with a red head who didn't seem to mind that I had offered her compensation to pretend she was with me so I could get away from being hounded by yet another woman.

My mind was running wild with fantasies -- when suddenly it jumped back to the she has to be here with some guy thought from earlier. My proud smile faded quickly as I glanced about us and asked, "Are you with someone ... and if he going to kick my ass for ... well ... this?"

I passed the hundred dollar bill toward him and smiled, turning to the bar back to my drink.

"I was. But he kept talking about ex girlfriends and dancing like his ass was on fire. I dont need the money. But I would love another drink." I slammed down the one I had and nodding to the seat next to me.

"I dont get out much because I have no girlfriends. So I came out and ended up having a horrible night. When you came up with your offer, it was the most funniest thing I had seen all night. So I decided why not. What about you? Did you come here with someone?"

I looked at the hundred, wondering whether to take it back or not. A deal's a deal, I thought. But, if she didn't want it and was happy with just helping me out, I was okay with that as well. I glanced down as she turned away, getting a good look at her back side and legs; maybe she was okay with passing on the cash and just spending a little time with me, here at the bar, out on the dance floor, or -- Dare you dream it? I thought -- back at my place.

I gestured the bartender over and slapped the hundred down before him. I did my best to sound chipper as I commanded, "For the lady's tab, my good man."

The man behind the bar snatched up the bill and headed away, leaving me to answer her last question. I glanced into the crowd again, not finding the other woman and answered, "Came with a group of people, but it broke up early."

I glanced down to the woman's back, strategically bared by her dress to want any man looking to want to see more of her bared again. I moved closer, allowing my hip to just lightly press against her as I laid my hand upon the skin of her back again. I lied, "She's still watching ... do you mind if I do this still...?"

I felt the wave of heat as he leaned closer, his breath barely touching my ear as I sat with a fresh new drink. My smile was all the approval I knew he needed.

"So, what do you do Mr....?"

I sipped the drink and very lightly touched the tip of my tongue across my top lip, closing my eyes to feel the taste of the drink on my tongue. I opened them and looked at the man waiting for him to answer as I brushed a lock of hair back. The music was background noise compared to the heat wave this guy was locking me in.

"Photographer," I answered, shifting my stance a bit to reposition the growth that was becoming so apparent at the front of my slacks. "I have a studio across the street."

The bartender returned to refresh our drinks, then departed.

I glanced down at her again, catching a bit of impressive, fair skinned cleavage. I took a long drink from my beer bottle, then ever-so-inconspicuously began to lightly caress my finger tips on the patch of bare skin my hand was resting upon. My mind was working quickly; I was rapidly approaching the lust zone with this woman, and I was eager to seal the deal with her before some more appropriate man came by and scooped her up.

"Have you ever been photographed?" I asked, my tone slightly suggestive. When she looked at me, I smiled knowingly, adding, "You really should ... be photographed."

I lifted my bottle and smiled broadly as I put my mouth to the glass and drank, watching her intently.

I shook my head and took a sip of my drink.

"How often does that line work on girls?" My cheeks were red. The comment was good. But I was not about to let him get away with it.

"Or is it how you get them to come home with you?"

I almost closed my eyes as his fingers traced my skin, my back arching a bit and my toes pointing down slowly. This guy was putting the heat on my body and it was stretching from toe to fingertip. Only the cool glass was a temperature change at this point. As the music thumped in the background, I felt a drop of moisture creep down between my breasts.

"How often does that line work on girls?" she asked, flushing, "or is it how you get them to come home with you?"

I laughed, and the heat in my own face told me that I, too, was likely turning red. I had meant it to be a line, as she called it; but, I hadn't meant to be called on it. She wasn't going to be easy, not that I'd thought she would be. The one thing I had going for me, I supposed, was that I'd been very slowly increasing the intensity of the caressing at her bared back ... and not only had she not asked me -- or ordered me -- to cease the play, but her body seemed to reacting in a way that told me I was getting to her.

Now, with my less than smooth approach facing certain defeat, it was time to either regroup and try the old fashioned way -- spend a couple of hours being friendly and charming, while the booze I poured down her gullet took effect -- or simply be bold, abandon lines for moves, and prepare to either get lucky or be slapped silly.

I looked around us again -- conspicuously, wanting her to knew that I was ensuring privacy -- then leaned in and, very close to her ear, said, "Your night went south ... mine did to ... I think we should get out of here ... go to my studio ... open a bottle of wine ... get out the cameras ... play around with some costumes--"

I slipped the tips of my fingers just inside the edge of her dress at her back, only enough to send a message but not enough to have someone near laugh at my move, then finished, "--and have some fun. If it doesn't work out ... you have a hundred dollar tab here that you can spend with someone who's ... less forward."

As I finished, I slowly slid my hand off her back, downward at an angle so it just caressed across the upper curves of that tight, little ass, and then reached it up to the bar, and to my beer.

Okay, Bobby, I thought, almost cringing, waiting for the feel of her hand across my face, or even her fist in my jaw, you made your bed ... let's see if you get laid in it, or just laid up in it, nursing your bruises.

My head was a little spinny from the drink and I knew anymore of these and I would be a cheap drunk heading to a stangers apartment.

"You know you still haven't told me your name? And as far as costumes go, Im not a fan of dressing up like a naughty maid or an erotic something that comes out of a closet. But I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine. If you think your brave enough to handle someone like me. I warn you. I have been called quite difficult to snatch."

I took another sip from my drink and ordered a shooter of spiced rum. Slamming it back I stood up and stood eye to eye with him.

"I mean how do I know you wont kidnap me?" I smiled to let him know I was teasing. But his fingers left trails of fire along my back, making me lean against the bar and stare at him from over my shoulder.

Naughty maid, I thought, smirking. Damn, I knew I was missing something in the closet.

She warned me that she wasn't that easy, then asked, "I mean how do I know you wont kidnap me?"

I signaled the bartender to tally the tab. I knew the man well; he was a professional, which meant that even though he might not know either of our names, he would have a way of matching our faces and our drinks to the remaining tab. She'd drink on my dime for a while, I knew; I only hoped that the night would go well enough that those future drinks would be with me and not some other horny guy.

"Robert's the name," I reminded her, ignoring the screams of Bobby that had brought me to her side in the first place. I took her politely by the elbow and turned us both toward the exit. "And if I wanted to kidnap you ... I would have waited until we'd used a bit more of the Benjamin back there on the tab."

The chill of the night air slammed us as we stepped out onto the side walk; I hoped the impact of it wouldn't give her a sudden burst of sobriety. There was little worse than a drunk date -- the woman back in the bar screaming my name was proof of that -- but it never hurt a man's chances to have a woman's inhibitions muted by a sprinkling of alcohol either.

I pointed toward the building kitty corner to the night club. "That's me ... second floor corner. Shall we...?"

(OOC -- If she doesn't object, feel free to walk us all the way inside the first floor. I often add these little OOCs to the end, just so you know I am good with advancing the story to a certain point. But never take them as a set direction that your character must follow.)

I wanted to hesitate, I wanted to say no. But it had been so long. What if he really was a nice guy? If he wasn't, it was only one night.

I slid my hand down his back to very bottom, tracing his pant line slowly and carefully.

"Are you sure you can handle someone like me?"

The drinks made it easier to say, the comment was true.

"I mean I have been known to be too much for one man."

I let my hair fall in front of my eye, showing only half a face adored with red lipstick. Even though I had given no answer, I started to walk toward his apartment. I wanted him to see how hot it was on this skin of mine, how much his touch was something that sent my temperature through the roof.

"I mean I have been known to be too much for one man," she quipped, stepping off the curb and heading for the building on the far side of the empty intersection.

I murmured, unsure of whether or not she heard me, "Well, if necessary, we'll have to bring in a second man."

She half glanced over her shoulder, but I wasn't sure whether it was because she heard me or simply wanted to make sure I was following. I took a couple of big steps, catching up to her, taking her hand gently in mine...

We stepped off the open cage elevator directly into my loft. As I walked ahead of her to disengage the alarm, I peeked back at her and said with a feigned, humble tone, "It's not much ... but it's home."

My jaw dropped with amazement as I looked around the very very expensive loft. Everything seemed to glow with the light.

"This is what you call not much? Remind me never to show you my place."

I walked over to the window and breathed in the view that was laid out.

"This is beautiful. But very expensive I take?"

I walked over to stand in front of him and smiled.

"So what are you going do with me, Robert?"

I smiled ... and backed away from her, my eyes not leaving her, only traveling up and down her with conspicuous delight. Finally close to the far wall, I turned, twisted a handle, and threw open a pair the huge double doors to reveal my studio. I walked in, not looking back; I knew the impression she would immediately have as it appeared I was inviting her to my bedroom.

"I just finished a magazine layout for..." I hesitated, remembering that I was still under the contract's confidentiality clause. "...a major retailer. It went well. That bed was made and remade and remade again ... like a fifty dollar motel room down on the strip."

I cringed, knowing I shouldn't be making cheap whore jokes as I attempted to bed a woman I'd only met ten minutes earlier. I continued, "Spent twelve days shooting sheets and blankets and drapes and ... and things I didn't even know had names."

I crossed to the opposite side of the room, where benches and lockers and tables and racks housed the multitude of camera and lights and reflectors with which I earned my very good living. I snatched up a digital camera, checked it batteries and its remote connection to the lighting still assembled around the bed display. Pressing the shutter, the room filled with light for an instant, then returned to normal; the buzz of strobes powering back up were just audible if you knew what you were listening for.

"So ... shall we take your picture?" I asked, hesitating before finally turning to look to her.

I strolled into the bedroom, letting my tongue flick across my top lip.

"I suppose. But what will I wear?"

I bent down so he could see down the front of the dress, easing the buckle of my shoe and sliding it off my foot. I eased over to sit on the bed and undid the second shoe. I eased slowly back on the bed so that I was leaning on my hands, looking over my shoulder at him and his camera.

"Unless you were looking for something more...." I leaned down on the bed so I could stare right at him, "bare, to work with."
