OOC:

Erin- 25, 5'2, 115#, petite and in good shape, medium-length brown hair, with red tints in it, bright green eyes, long lashes

IC:

Erin logged onto Facebook out of boredom. It was a Saturday afternoon and she had nothing planned. Immediately a chat message popped up from her friend Katie.

"Hey girl! I've got an extra ticket to the Chiefs game tomorrow. Wanna come? It'll be me, you and Sabrina, and we've got second row seats, right behind the end zone!".

Erin immediately agreed. How could she pass up a free ticket to a KC Chiefs game? She was a die hard fan. She was so excited that she logged on to their star running back's Facebook page. He was leading the league this year in yards per carry, a true star among the team.

She clicked on the button marked "Write on Cody Callahan's Wall".

Just found out I'm coming to the game tomorrow. You probably don't even read these posts yourself; but I just had to say that I am SO excited to see you guys play. We'll be sitting right behind the end zone in the second row! You guys better win for me!

She hit submit and then immediately felt foolish. Ugh she was just like the million other floozies who probably wrote on his wall per day. Oh well... she shrugged and got up from the monitor, leaving it logged in, to go pick out her outfit for the next day.

OOC: Cody - 27 5’10 190# short sandy blond hair with brilliant blue eyes top physical condition

IC: Cody had been a star running back in High School. He was named All State his senior year and was pursued by many universities for a football scholarship. He signed with a Midwestern college that had a good coach and a pretty good record. Cody could have signed and played for a more prestigious university but he was more interested in playing football and would have a better shot at playing and succeeding in a smaller program.

In High School it was always assumed that the cheerleaders had there pick of the football jocks and several had been very interested in dating Cody. What few of the girls in HS ever found out was that he was really shy and put off by the overt attention that the cheerleaders and others like them paid him. As a result Cody didn’t date a whole lot in HS. For some reason he always thought that he wasn’t in the same league as the gorgeous girls that practically threw themselves at him and once they got to know him they would see that too.

In college Cody had very little time for dating. He was dedicated to his studies and football. He was studying history thinking that someday he would like to be a history teacher. Yet after every home game he always seemed to be pulled into parties by his other team mates where he had opportunities to meet girls. In his four years at State he had become their 3rd all time leading rusher and been named All American his last 3 years. There was even talk that he might be in contention for the Heisman Trophy his senior year but it was given to a quarterback from a much larger southern university.

After college Cody was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs. Having lived in the Midwest for the last 4 years it wasn’t much of an adjustment. Kansas City was a good sized city and had a fantastic football and baseball heritage. He bought a loft in an old warehouse building downtown that had been refurbished and divided into lofts 4 on each of the 8 floors. There was still an old freight elevator that could access all the floors except most tenets used the more modern elevator that had been added.

Cody had enjoyed his success with the Chiefs and after 5 years had become their lead running back and a league leader in yards per carry. In the years since college he had met several girls and dated often just never finding anyone that he thought that he would want to settle down with. When not in season he spent a lot of his time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed working with others helping to build houses for those that were less fortunate than himself. He tried to keep his volunteer work with Habitat kind of low key so that he could enjoy the time working with others and not be continually mobbed by over zealous fans.

Cody kept up a Facebook page for his fans and prided himself with handling it himself and not just pushing it off on a service. He often would respond to his fans that would wish his well before a game or congratulate him on a game well played. In college he had earned the nick name ‘Tank’ due to the fact that he was so hard to stop and could bust tackles making big plays. There were some fans that still would use the nickname although it hadn’t really caught on in his professional career.

Before an upcoming home game a fan had posted on his page Just found out I'm coming to the game tomorrow. You probably don't even read these posts yourself; but I just had to say that I am SO excited to see you guys play. We'll be sitting right behind the end zone in the second row! You guys better win for me! Cody chuckled when he read the posting. First off the writer left no indication whether it was a he or she and secondly didn’t mention which end zone. He sat down at the key board and wrote, ‘It is so wonderful to hear from fans that are excited to come watch us play. I would like to say that I will be looking for you if I am lucky enough to make it into the end zone but I won’t know who I’m looking for and for that matter I don’t even know which end zone you will be sitting in. Enjoy the game and we will do our best to win just for you. Cody.’

Erin heard the email notifications come through saying that she had a new facebook comment and walked back to the computer to check it out. She had just pulled out her favorite pair of jeans; ones that hugged her body like a second skin, but were so worn they felt like cotton. They still looked great on her; they actually showed off her legs wonderfully instead of hiding them.

Of course she would be wearing her authentic Cody Callahan jersey- she had paid 300$ for it so she would definitely wear it! She had called Katie on the phone and decided they were all going to paint their faces as well.

Erin sat down the computer and pulled up Facebook again, and her heart began to race when it said "Cody Callahan commented on your wall post". What the hell? No way. She clicked on it and it brought up a new comment.

‘It is so wonderful to hear from fans that are excited to come watch us play. I would like to say that I will be looking for you if I am lucky enough to make it into the end zone but I won’t know who I’m looking for and for that matter I don’t even know which end zone you will be sitting in. Enjoy the game and we will do our best to win just for you. Cody.’

Erin couldn't believe her eyes. Had he really just talked to her? Her fingers trembled a bit as she typed a reply.

"Wow. You responded. To be honest I'm not sure which end zone we will be in, but I have complete confidence that you will make it into both! You wont be able to miss us!" she then proceeded to explain how their faces would be painted and that she would be wearing his jersey. "We'll be the loudest fans there, guaranteed!" she typed, and then hit post.

Just as she was about to log off a chat message popped up from her ex boyfriend Mike. Erin completely ignored it. Mike had been her high school sweetheart, they had dated from 7th grade all the way through graduation, but Erin had found out once they had both started college he had cheated on her, a lot. She had gone out on a few dates since then but never anything lasting; she didnt feel that attraction to anyone.

Erin got back up, once again leaving Facebook up, and went downstairs to get something to eat.

Cody hadn’t left his computer replying to a few other fans on his Facebook page when another post popped up. "Wow. You responded. To be honest I'm not sure which end zone we will be in, but I have complete confidence that you will make it into both! You wont be able to miss us! We'll be the loudest fans there, guaranteed!"

“And why wouldn’t I respond to a fan especially one that would wear my jersey. I like the way you have so much confidence in me being able to get into the end zone. I sure hope that I won’t disappoint you. I’ll look for you and when I’m there just yell ‘it’s me Erin’ and I will look for you. Who knows I may have a surprise for you.” Cody liked having fans that he could interact with. He knew that a lot of people would wear his jersey but few would go to the trouble to write on his page and be so complimentary. It made playing the game so much more fun. He wondered how old Erin would be. It would be his luck that she would be a teenager in HS or even Middle School.

Cody sat there at the computer day dreaming about meeting a gorgeous young woman that just happened to be a great fan that he saw in the stands. Then it hit him how in the world would he ever get to meet such a woman if she was in the stands and he was playing down on the field. Oh well he could at least dream.

It was getting late and he would be getting up early the next day to make it out to the stadium before even the earliest of tailgaters started to gather. Some time he thought it would be fun if he could have the time just to walk through the parking lot before a game and visit with the fans as they cooked out and partied away.

Game day was here and Cody suited up ready to play. Everyone on the team was fired up because there was the thought of getting into the playoffs this year. They had a pretty good quarterback in Matt Castle and he had a few great wide receivers that could catch most any ball. The Chiefs received the opening kick off and after a long pass play that ended on the 5 yard line Cody ran the ball in for a touch down on the second play from scrimage. The crowd went wild and he looked up in the stands wondering if he would see Erin.

Erin read Cody's second message and her pulse skyrocketed. It was silly really, he probably said he'd look for all of his fans. That night as Erin lay in bed she couldn't help dreaming about what it would be like to actually be noticed by a pro football player like Cody. She had dreams that night... erotic ones that were focused on Cody.

The next morning Erin woke up extremely early. They were heading out to the game around 9AM even thought it didn't start until 1PM. Erin showered and then pulled on her jeans, a camisole, and her Cody Callahan jersey. The jersey was close-fitting and hugged her curves, showing them off to perfection, as did her jeans.

Katie and Sabrina got to Erin's house at 8AM and they painted their faces. In the end they all three looked pretty hot. Erin had tied her flowing hair back into a ponytail with a red ribbon, leaving a few strand out to frame her face.

And then they headed for the stadium. Tailgate parties were going on everywhere and they joined in on a few although not drinking much; they wanted to actually remember the game. Finally game time came and they found their seats. Second row just as Katie had said. The opening kickoff was received by the Chiefs and in only two plays Cody Callahan himself ran the ball in for a touchdown... right in front of Erin and her friends. Erin felt stupid but she cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted as loud as she could.

"I TOLD YOU I HAD FAITH IN YOU!" she screamed and then started laughing, her face lighting up with her smile, as she wondered if it was even possible for him to hear her over all of the other people in the stadium. His teammates were scrambling around him, congratulating him and doing celebratory dances.

As his teammates gathered around to congratulate his on scoring a touchdown Cody tried to keep his eye on the crowd wondering if he would see Erin. All he had to go on was the picture that she had posted on Facebook which wasn’t the greatest quality. That’s when he saw the three girls jumping up and down waving and one was wearing his jersey and he could barely hear her yell, "I TOLD YOU I HAD FAITH IN YOU!"

Cody was thrilled that she didn’t appear to be an under aged fan. She actually appeared to be very close to his age and quite beautiful, her face all painted up for the game. He was so thrilled to be recognized by her that he ran over leaping against the end zone wall grabbing the top rail with one hand pulling himself up. Stretching his other arm out he handed the ball to her smiled and yelled, “THANKS.”

The coach frowned upon players giving away a game ball like that but Cody didn’t care. He was thrilled that he had actually been able to meet someone that had posted on his Facebook page. How cool was that. As he trotted back to the bench it dawned on him that he hadn’t really met her at all. At this point she was just another pretty face in the crowd. Finding her after the game would be like finding a needle in a haystack. The only thing he had to go on was her Facebook post.

The game went well and the Chiefs won. Unfortunately Cody didn’t score another touchdown in the end zone where Erin was sitting. Back in the locker room there was much celebrating and the press was everywhere with mikes shoved in the players faces asking stupid questions like how did it feel. Cody had a tough time concentrating on his answers as his mind was stuck on the girl in the stands that he knew only as Erin.

That evening when Cody had gotten home to his loft after being out partying with several of his team mates he went straight to his computer and logged on to Facebook. Finding Erin’s page from her post on his page he left a message on her wall, “it was great seeing you at the game today. Hope you enjoyed yourself. If you are ever interested in having me autograph your football let me know. Cody”

He had heard her. Cody Callahan had actually heard her and not only that but he had came up and given her the ball. Katie and Sabrina were shrieking like schoolgirls in Erin's ear but she merely smiled, her smile blinding even in the after noon sun. Erin held onto that ball for dear life throughout the rest of the game.

The Chiefs won, much to the girls' delight. They went out to the bar afterwards, Erin tucking the prized ball deeply within the car trunk to keep it safe before they went. Katie and Sabrina got prettyy well hammered leaving Erin to be DD. Eventually she got them each to their respective homes and then headed to her own.

She also headed immediately to the computer and logged on to Facebook, telling herself she was just going to thank Cody for the ball, but then she saw his comment.

An autograph? She thought as she read it; that would mean like meeting him face to face. Could you say dream come true? She sat back in her chair trying to think of what to say. Finally she sent Cody a private message, that noone else could read.

"Thanks for the ball today. Incredible game. You rock! An autograph, really? I mean that would be awesome. But I know how busy you are..." She hesitated before typing the next part, not wanting to seem like a floozy or something. "Here's my number... You probably won't call and I understand if you don't but I guess its worth a shot". Before she lost the guts she hit send.

The last thing Cody did before going to bed that night was check his Facebook page to see if Erin had replied. He was disappointed that there wasn’t any response yet. He told himself that she was probably out partying still and wouldn’t be back online to see his comment till tomorrow. He was just getting ready to log off when he realized that he had a private message. His heart started to beat a bit faster hoping that it was from Erin.

Sure enough she had read his posting on her wall and responded. How cool was this. He chuckled when he read, . Incredible game. You rock! She was interested in getting his autograph and she had even left her number. Cody stared at the screen there it was a telephone number of a fan that had posted nice comments on his wall and he had actually met all be it very briefly.

It was fairly late Sunday evening but Cody was still pumped from the game and knew that he wouldn’t be able to sleep very soon. He had no clue whether Erin would have to work on Monday morning but as usual the team was given the day off the day after a game so he would be able to sleep in. He hesitated for a moment then very slowly dialed her number hoping that she hadn’t already gone to bed.

The phone rang several times when finally a soft female voice answered. Cody couldn’t tell if she had been asleep and he had woken her up. “Um ah hi, Erin this is Cody Callahan. I hope that I didn’t wake you up. Um well I ah couldn’t get to sleep and I was wondering if um maybe um you would like to go out for some coffee and a piece of pie.” The minute he said it he realized how stupid that sounded. What was he thinking she probably had no interest at all in getting out in the middle of the night to sit down and have desert with him. “I’m sorry for calling so late. Maybe I ought to call back at a more reasonable time.”

Erin groaned at first when her phone rang. She had just laid down in bed and figured it was a drunken Katie or Sabrina but then she didn't recognize the number. Her heart began to race. No way. It couldn't be. She answered hesitantly.

It was. Cody Callahan was actually on the phone with her right this second. She was speechless for a moment.

"Uh. Wow. I can't believe you actually called" she finally said. "I, well I mean I'd love to meet up with you". Sheesh, she felt like a schoolgirl or something. How lame could she be?

"I was about to go to bed but your invitation sounds a LOT more tempting". She got out of bed, the sheets rustling around her as she did and walked to her closet.

"Um wh-where did you wanna meet?" she finally asked. This couldn't be real. It was a practical joke or something and she was probably gonna end up looking like a complete fool.

Cody grinned to himself it sounded like Erin was as nervous as he was. “Why wouldn’t I call you? You left me your number and I’m assuming the only reason you did that was so that I could call you. I hope that I’m not calling too late. It’s just that the night after a game it is really hard for me to get to sleep."

“Well I don’t know what part of town you are in but I live down town. There is a really cool all night diner close by that has really great home made pies. It’s a great place to go if you want a nice intimate place to eat that has real good food.” He cringed having used the word intimate. He didn’t want to scare her off by moving too fast. “If you like I could come and pick you up so you don’t have to drive all the way down town. I know a lot of people don’t like driving down her especially after dark.”

He waited to find out what she would like to do. Thinking how if he picked her up it would be more like a date. He hadn’t been on a real date in a very long time. In his position it always seemed so hard to go about meeting nice young women.

Erin couldn't help laughing at him a bit. "What do you mean why wouldn't you call? You're like ... A star. You could have any girl you want" she replied. "And that sounds amazing. I live just north of town". She proceeded to give him her address and directions. "So I'll see you soon" she finally said and they hung up.

Erin darted to her closet. What did you wear on a date with a pro football player? Not her jersey that would be a little weird. She pulled out a denim skirt that reached midthigh, and a form fitting sweater in a pretty green color that matched her eyes. That would have to work. She slid into those garments and also a pair of knee high leather boots. She hoped she didn't look too hooker-ish.

Erin darted to the bathroom to fix her hair. No time for a shower so she pulled it up into a messy-but-cute looking ponytail and then applied a little makeup. She put on some lotion and perfume and then headed downstairs. She had just gotten down when her doorbell rang. Her pulse skyrocketed. Was she crazy? This had to be crazy.

Slowly she opened the door and had to work to keep her jaw up. Cody Callahan truly was standing on her doorstep. She felt herself blush.

“Erin just because I am pretty good at football doesn’t mean that I’m not a regular guy. And what would make you think that I wouldn’t want you? What guy wouldn’t want his own personal cheerleader? You were actually looking pretty good at the game you know. Although I hope that you have removed the face paint by the time I get to your place. No offense but I’m not really looking to draw attention to us.”

Cody took down her address and told her that he would be there shortly. The moment he hung up he headed for the bathroom for a quick shave. He had already showered after the game but hadn’t shaved. He wanted to make a good first impression and didn’t think that a 2 day growth on his face would do that. What should he wear? It had been so long since he had been on a regular date that he wasn’t sure if he knew how to act. He pulled on a pair of slightly faded blue jeans and a sweatshirt from his collegiate alma mater. Finally he pulled on his favorite pair of New Balance tennis shoes.

Cody headed down to the garage where his 1967 MG midget was parked. His car was just about the same color blue as his eyes. Unfortunately it would be too cold to drive with the top down. This was car was just like the first car that his dad had ever had when he was young. It was so fun to drive with a 6 speed transmission and lots of get up and go. It was just about the smallest sports car on the road and almost too small for his 5’-10” frame. Cody programmed in Erin’s address in his Garmin GPS and took off for her house.

Cody walked up to her door wishing that he had brought something for her like maybe flowers or something. Isn’t that what guys did on a first date? But where was he going to get any flowers at this time of night on a Sunday. He rang the door bell and waited fidgeting being just a bit nervous.

Erin pulled open the door and smiled at Cody. She had indeed washed the paint and goo off of her face and it now shown with a freshness that made her look even younger than she was. "Uh hey" she said lamely. Her green eyes took in his appearance as he stood there. She still couldn't believe that he was standing there. Sure like he had said, he was just a regular guy, but weren't pro football player supposed to be like playboys or something? He looked gorgeous. she had rarely seen him in casual clothes, only in uniform, and it seemed to enhance his appearance even better. His legs looked rock solid beneath the faded denim and his broad shoulders filled out the sweatshirt amazingly.

Tearing her gaze from his body, Erin stepped out of the door and onto the porch. "I'm glad you found the place. Its not too hard to find. And I'm really glad you called too" she said, searching her brain for things to say and then smiling at him. She was extremely nervous. Her gaze traveled to the car parked out front and her eyes lit up.

"Awesome! Thats your car? My dad used to have one just like it; I always wanted it but he sold it before I turned sixteen" she said, glad to have found a topic to discuss.

The door opened and Cody got his first look at Erin without her face paint from earlier in the day. She looked a lot younger without the paint. He was hoping that she wasn’t a teenager. He just wasn’t looking for a girl to date that young. Rather than invite him in she stepped out side on the porch. Maybe in dating language this meant she was ready to go and didn’t want him seeing where she lived.

Erin was dressed in a fairly tight green sweater that showed off her sexy shape wonderfully and a denim skirt. “You look great. My Garmin GPS directed me right to your door.” Cody hoped that he didn’t appear to be as nervous as he felt. She looked around him and saw his car and commented that her dad used to have one like it. “That’s funny because my dad had one this very same year and model for his first car. I just always thought it was a cool car so once I had the money I bought one for myself.”

“If you are ready to go we can head out?” They walked down to his blue sports car and he opened the door for her. As she was just getting ready to get in his car he touched her shoulder and said, “Um a Erin, I was um wondering just how old you are?” He really wasn’t thinking that he wanted to get too involved if she was as young as she looked. For all he knew she might not even be 18.

Erin hadn't thought Cody would want to see inside her house. She was still in college, going for her bachelors degree, and her house wasn't the greatest, although it wasn't bad. She figured maybe if things went ok tonight she would invite him in once they got back.

Erin approached the old car smiling, admiring it. Cody opened the door for her and then placed his hand on her shoulder. She turned to face him and was a bit startled; he was closer than she had thought.

“Um a Erin, I was um wondering just how old you are?” he asked and she smiled.

"Don't worry. I'm 25... you won't get arrested for robbing the cradle with me" she replied. She knew from watching him on TV that he was 28. She smiled, a bit shyly, as she said those words. She hoped he didnt like younger girls, or older ones either for that matter.

“Oh that’s a relief. I must say that you look so young you could easily pass for a teenager and to tell you the truth I’m not into girls that young. I’ll bet you get hassled when ever you go to a club looking as young as you do.” Cody stepped aside as Erin slid down into his car. She wasn’t used to getting in to a car like this so low to the ground and her denim skirt slid up her thighs quite a bit.

Cody shut the door and hurried around to his side. It took him a bit of time getting himself into the small car. “That’s why I like driving this car in the summer more. I leave the top down and it is easier for me to get in it.” The car started right up and purred softly. Putting it into gear he glanced over his shoulder then headed out. It wasn’t a long drive back into town, he jumped on the Interstate southbound and got quickly up to speed. When he pulled up to the diner there weren’t many cars around.

Again Cody got out and hurried around to open the door for her. He was interested in seeing just how she would get out of the car. It was harder for a woman wearing a skirt to get out of the low slung car as it was getting in. He already had gotten a pretty good flash of her legs and liked what he saw.

Once inside they found a booth back away from the door. There were only a handful of people in the diner and most appeared to be regulars all saying hi to Cody and giving him high fives saying good game. When they got to the booth he let Erin slide in then stood there for just a second wondering if he should slide in next to her or sit across from her. As appealing as the thought of sitting next to her was he decided to slide into the other side of the booth.

The waitress was a bit older probably in her late 30’s she laid the menus on the table and asked what they would like to drink. She winked at Cody and said I’ll bet I know what you want. Your regular I presume? “Rose, you are so right. I’ll have my regular.”

Erin smiled as Cody spoke of her age. "I do get carded quite often" she said smiling. She slid down into the low seat, tugging her skirt down, but still showing quite a bit of leg. She wondered how she would get up. Cody slid into the car, his large frame looking way too big. They chatted idly on the way to the diner. Erin wondered how people in the diner would react. Hopefully they didn't get swarmed.

Erin had a hard time climbing out of the low car, her skirt slit up almost to her underwear, and she blushed but laughed. "Sorry, guess I'm not used to cars this low" she said, making a joke out of her slight embarassment.

People in the diner greeted Cody like an old friend and Erin smiled. She liked the way he interacted with people; he really WAS just a regular guy. They sat down and the waitress greeted Cody with familiarity. Cody ordered his "regular".

"What's the regular?" Erin asked, and when they told her she nodded. "Sure, I'll have the same" she saif smiling. Her knee brushed Cody's under the table and she smiled, wondering if he minded the contact, she knew she sure didn't mind.

She actually pressed her leg up against his on purpose, pressing her thigh to his under the table.

Thinking about how he had gotten a quick flash of her panties when climbing out of the car he said, “I should have warned you that the car I would be driving wasn’t conducive to young ladies wearing short skirts. That is unless they don’t mind letting their date get a peak at what they may or may not be wearing underneath.” Cody blushed at his comment thinking that he maybe getting a bit ahead of himself.

“My regular is a root beer float made with real ice cream. This is the only place I have found that makes them like that and they are so good. You will love it.” Cody felt so good sitting across from this beautiful young lady. It was nice being in a place where the people there knew who he was but allowed him some privacy. He could feel her press her thigh up against his and knew that it wasn’t on accident. Now he wished that he had sat next to her. He moved his thigh against hers pressing back against her letting her know that he sure didn’t mind at all.

“By the way what did you do with your football? I think I owe you an autograph that is if you want one. The coach got mad at me for giving it away to you but he just said don’t make a habit of it those balls aren’t cheap. You and your girlfriends looked pretty hot all painted up and wearing your team gear. Did you go out partying after the game? If you did I’m guessing that you got stuck being the designated driver.” Cody knew that he was rambling on and on. He had a tendency to do that when he was nervous. So he decided that he better just shut up. “Erin, tell me about yourself. I'm betting your boyfriend isn't going to be too thrilled with you being out with me tonight”

Erin felt Cody's thigh press back against hers and smiled to herself, it felt incredibly nice. She smiled as he mentioned the game football.

"Well I'm sorry you got in trouble; I loved it. And the football is at home in my bedroom. Maybe when we get back you can come in and sign it for me? I'd love that" she said smiling.

"Hmmm about myself... welll... Like I said I'm 25, I'm in college full time, going for my masters in child psychology. I love it, and I love children" she said. "I play on a co-ed softball team in the city... And of course I'm a rabid Chief's fan" she threw in, grinning over at Cody.

Soon enough the waitress came with the root beer floats. Erin tasted hers and moaned softly. "Wow that hits the spot... thats really good Cody". She had a bit of ice cream on her lip and licked it off without thinking of how sexual it might look as she did it. She glanced up at Cody from under her lashes, her green eyes bright and sparkling with excitement.

"Thanks for calling and bringing me here. I'm off tomorrow so I was wondering what I was gonna do tonight".

The club doesn’t like me getting too involved in outside extracurricular sports activities. I guess they are afraid that I might hurt myself some how. They don’t even like me helping out with Habitat for Humanity but they allow it as long as I stay off the roofs. Like I would do that any way since I’m kind of afraid of heights. Oh and you don’t have to repeat that little tidbit.” When the floats came they started to suck on their straws enjoying the wonderful taste.

Erin got some ice cream on her lips and ran her tongue out over her lips licking it off.
Cody wondered if she knew just how sexy that was. Oh how he wished he could lick ice cream off of her sexy lips. “Wow your eyes are as green as your sweater. I hadn’t notice them before just now. They are really beautiful. I don’t know that I’ve ever known anyone with eyes as green as yours.”

“I know good and well what you were planning on doing tonight and that would have been going to bed if I hadn’t called. I’m off tomorrow too maybe we could get breakfast or something.” The minute he said it he stopped thinking maybe that didn’t sound right. Would she think that he was implying that they would be spending the night together. It sure would be tempting. Erin was a gorgeous girl and so easy to talk with.

Cody was a bit concerned that she had evaded his last comment about her boyfriend not being thrilled about being out with him. Did this mean that she had a boyfriend like he had expected. Maybe he ought to just come right out and ask her.

She smiled as he complimented her eyes. She felt herself blushing; she wasn't used to a lot of compliments. "Thanks, I like to think they're one of my best features" she said looking down at her float. She still couldn't wrap her mind around how genuine the man seemed.

Erin smiled mischieviously when he mentioned breakfast. "Hmmm two times together in less than 24 hours... Yeah my boyfriend may not like that"... She paused for about two seconds then laughed out loud. "Just kiddin. I'm single I swear, no boyfriends, girlfriends or attachments of any kind unless you count my dog" she said still grinning.

"I'm sorry, I like to joke around. What kind of life would it be without laughter ya kno? But maybe that joke was a little cruel" she said grimacing some. "I really mean it, I'm single". Her green gaze bored into his pierincg blue one and he could see the sincerity in her eyes. She felt herself being dragged in by his gaze.

"Your eyes are gorgeous too" she said softly. "That's something that the camera doesn't pick up too well from behind the mask... And a shame too, cause they are captivating". She blushed when she realized she was practically admitting that he nearly hypnotized her.

"I would love to have breakfast with you tomorrow" she said finally in answer to his invitation. "Who knows, we may both still be up at that time anyway". She really blushed then. "I mean... Well I meant that we both may be too wound up to sleep, not that we'd be... Together... You know. But not that I would mind...Ugh, ima shut up now" she stuttered and gave him a sheepish smile. Wow she was a fool for this man, she thought to herself.

Cody’s heart sank the moment she said how her boyfriend wouldn’t like them being together. He was sure that the disappointment showed on his face. Then she said just kidding. “Oh wow that’s a relief because I’m not one to come between two people and I was really getting the feeling that we may be seeing a lot more of each other.”

“Well are we going to order anything else besides root beer floats. I think originally I was planning on having a piece of pie. I worked up quite an apetite today and haven’t had all that much to eat. What do you say would you split a piece with me or would you rather have one all to yourself? They make the best pies here. The usually have cherry or apple and chocolate cream pie which is my all time favorite.”

Cody kept his eyes fixed on hers. He couldn’t get over how green her eyes were. “Your eyes are like two sparkling emeralds a most beautiful shade of green. I wonder when a woman with green eyes and a man with blue eyes have a baby what color the baby’s eyes would be?” The words just out of his mouth and he realized the implication of what he had just said. Surely she was going to think he was a bit scary or at least just plain crazy. “Uh I didn’t really mean anything by that comment. It just was something I was thinking about and probably never should have been uttered.” He knew that he was turning all shades of red. Maybe she wouldn’t have even picked up on what he had said.

Maybe he should just change the subject quickly and maybe she wouldn’t think too much about what he had said. ”Usually the day after a home game I sleep in then get up and fix a big breakfast of eggs and bacon, hash browns and either pancakes or an English muffin if I get lazy. You know I don‘t live too far from here. I‘ve got a loft in the old Western Auto building.” Cody thought long and hard before finishing what he was going to say. He sure didn’t want to make her uncomfortable or cause her to feel akward around him. But they had been having such a wonderful time together he just wasn’t wanting that to end just yet.

“I have a spare bed at my place and a separate bathroom you are more than welcome to come spend the night and then I could make breakfast for you. I’m sure you could wear a shirt of mine to bed and I probably have a new tooth brush around too. Or I could take you home after we finish our late night snack and we could do breakfast some other time.” Cody couldn’t believe what he had just said. Never had he ever done anything like this. Man he was hoping that he hadn’t offended her by his offer. She was really going to think he was crazy.

"That pie sounds great, but I'm not all that hungry. Wanna share a piece?" Erin asked. The thought of sharing the food with him was intimate, but she truthfully wasn't hungry. When he asked about a baby's eye color Erin had to laugh. She placed her hand on his forearm, a little shocked by the almost electric feeling shock that pulsed through her at the touch.

She was still was smiling when she said "Hey don't worry about, I've been saying stupid things around you all night. Its hard to believe but maybe I make you just as nervous as you make me?... But I have a feeling neither of us has any reason to be nervous. You seem like a great guy" she said softly.

Cody flagged down the waitress and ordered the chocolate cream pie and the turned back to Erin, his eyes searching hers. Erin felt herself getting lost in them. His offer of the spare bedroom surprised Erin ... But it was a good surprise.

"Uh... Wow... You really want me to come back with you? Don't get me wrong, if you want me to, I'd love that. I don't think I'm done getting to know you yet" Erin said smiling, her hand still on his forearm, fingers curled around the tight muscles there.

Erin's mind was racing with thoughts. He wanted her to spend the night at his place. But in a spare bedroom. That was so sweet of him, she thought. But to be honest she wasn't sure if she'd want to be in the spare bedroom. What if she wanted to be in HIS bedroom? What was she thinking?? She didn't sleep with men on the first date! But this was different somehow. She felt such a strong connection, such a strong attraction to this man; she had never felt anything like it. She knew what people would say; that he was rich that was why she liked him. But she knew for a FACT that that was not true. Money had never held much appeal for Erin; she based her opinions of people on their personality, not the things they owned. She hoped Cody would understand that about her and not think she was some gold-digger.

When the pie came Cody slid out from his seat, “if we are going to share then we had better be sitting next to each other.” He didn’t really think that that was necessarily true but it sounded good. He slid into the booth next to her and their thighs touched. Cody put his left arm behind her on the back of the seat so that he could sit close.

With his right hand he picked up a fork and cut off a small bite and raised it up to her lips. She slowly opened her mouth and he gently ease the fork into her mouth so she could take the bite. Cody had never realized how erotic it was to feed someone like this. Erin’s lips were a perfect size, not to thin and not too plump. He moaned softly watching as he slid the fork out of her mouth her lips coming together as if she was kissing the fork. He thought how wonderful it would be to kiss her lips but he didn’t make any move to do so.

They sat there laughing and talking as they finished the piece of pie. They each had stories about others that they had dated and the unbelievable moments that had occurred on these dates. Cody was feeling so comfortable he put his arm around her resting his hand on her shoulder. This way he could hold her close enjoying the feel of her body up against his. They had finished their root beer floats and the pie was history. Although the conversation was still lively and a bit flirtatious. The waitress dropped the ticket on the table, “you two have a good night and come back when you want a full meal.”

“Well we don’t have to leave. We can just stay here and visit or we can go somewhere else, what ever you would like to do. If we go back to my place we can still visit but be a bit more relaxed. Or I can take you home if you would like.” Cody had intentionally left it up to Erin to decide what they were going to do. He wanted her to feel comfortable and not pressured in any way. There was still the idea that he had floated out there about her spending the night. He did have the spare bed and there was plenty of room that she hopefully wouldn’t feel threatened by him.

"How about it if we head out and you can decide where we should go." Cody slid out of the booth and pulled out his wallet and laid a $10 bill on the table then picked up the ticket and waited for Erin to slid out. They walked up to the cashier and he paid the ticket then turned to her, “well what is your pleasure young lady? Where are we off to now?”

Erin enjoyed the feeling of Cody's body pressed close to hers when he slid into her side of the booth. She pressed closer so that their shoulders touched too. She was aware of his arm behind her back, and wished he would move it down.

Then he lifted that bite of pie to her mouth and the taste exploded on her taste buds. It was the best pie she had ever tasted. "Mmmm" she moaned softly, her tongue darting out to lick her lips.

They talked about all sorts of things as they sat there; about exes, Erin's school, football, everything they could think of. Erin felt extremely close to him in that moment, especially when he slid his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. Erin snuggled up to his body, able to smell his aftershave, and it smelled incredible. She could feel the hard play of muscles beneath his clothing as she pressed close and ached to touch those muscles with her hands.

Or I can take you home if you would like. - Erin heard him say that and her mind screamed NO! She didn't want their time together to end in any way shape or form. Cody slid out of the booth, leaving a ten dollar tip. Erin was impressed. She had always thought that you could tell alot about a person by how they tipped. She had been a waitress for years, so she knew how it was. He paid the bill and then turned to her.

Where are we off to now?

Erin smiled at him, her green eyes dancing with excitement.

"Lets go back to your place" she replied softly, feeling her cheeks turn pink. She had basically just given herself over to him, but it felt good. She wasn't in any way afraid of him, and she knew if she didn't want to do something he wouldn't force her. But at this point in time, she felt like she would do anything to make this man before her happy.

Their hands brushed as they turned to walk out and Erin wondered if he would take her hand.
