Benny (Depp) was won in a poker game, he did the Buster Keaton routine. Cute film.

He's a fabulous actor, one of my favs.
He's also melt in my mouth sexy.;)

I Love Tim Birton. I am so out of the loop, I didn't even know there was a movie called Corpse Bride. (thats what I get for not watching television, ever)

Okay I have to everyone's opinion of The Life Aquatic. Such differing opinions on that one.
Sorry didn't see it, was that the one with Bill Murray?

He was hot in Pirates.

Yes. I really liked it, thought it was quite funny, but it's one of those love it or hate it movies.

Seems to me that if you liked The Royal Tenebaums or Best in Show, you will enjoy Life Aquatic. I could be wrong though.

I didn't see Best in Show and I only moderately liked Tenenbaums. Bill Murray absolutely made Life Aquatic. He can look so serious while uttering such nonsense that it cracks me up.

I didn't like Either Best in Show or Royal Tenebaums, but I would try Life Aquatic.

Monica Bellucci who is in the Brother's Grimm is wonderful in Malena, plus she's really hot.

I loved Best in Show. It was pure genius. :D

[at the butcher]
Stefan Vanderhoof: Now, Tyrone would like some of those beef kidneys so we'll have a half pound of those.
Scott Donlan: No, not the kidneys, it's the membranes, I don't wanna have to pull those things off.
Stefan Vanderhoof: [rolls eyes] I'll take care of the membranes.
Scott Donlan: [to the butcher] I mean, Randy, you could pull the membrane off.
Stefan Vanderhoof: Will you stop it? So, we'll have a half pound of the kidneys, a half pound of the salmon.
Scott Donlan: And do me a favor, will you? Just get out of those meat sticks I just wanna hold it.

Life Aquatic has some truly brilliant moments, but ultimately I found the move to be unsatisfying; however, that might have had more to do with my expectations for the movie than with the actual execution of it.

She's a lovely woman! She was one of Dracula's brides, also, in Dracula.

That movie made Darlene lost.
Lost in Darlene either sounds like porn flick or a really sweet chick-flickish kinda thing. ;)

Did you get a sense of alienation from Lost in Translation? And on this subject, don't you wish you knew what he whispered in her ear at the end? Grr! That sort of thing drives me nuts!

Sorry for the interruption, please continue with the Grimm topic!

...I really just wanted to see Heath Ledger and Matt Damon in the same movie...

You have good taste... Well, the first half of it, anyway.

;)

I'm still debating going to see this one, mostly because I'm without an SO, which means I'll most likely have to go alone.

*shrug*

Oh, well. We'll see. I was surprised to see those two cast. Not that they're bad actors, but they don't seem to be gothic type actors.
