hi...

Regarding the numbness in the left chest.... Perhaps that is where they took a vein for your bypass... and hence the numbness is from that.. I know when my mother had her heart attack and triple bypass, they took a vein from her leg and chest wall...

her leg still hurts to this day... and that was 3 years ago.. and I remember her complaining of some loss of feeling at first...

As far as Your hand... that is a bit more worrysome... when do You see the Doctor again????

~~ hugs for YOU~~

me

Don’t get to see a doctor until the 28th a month and 13 days after my operation. I do get to see a PA on the 18th only a month and 3-day post op to get my meds renewed. Got to love managed care.

They took a vein from my leg, and an artery from my chest.

Pap who knows? Right now I am taking it a day at a time and fighting whit my HMO for the care I am suppose to be getting. Been tied up with them all day it seem from being able to do nothing to recite of a letter I wrote them asking for a written response to my concerns to be forwarded with my letter to Coast Guard retired affairs Seems to have them rethinking some of their recent decisions.

All in All not a very pleasant day.

Ambrosia just going to take a look at your post.

It is not fun having to argue with one's insurance company to recieve care that you are entitled too...

sorry Your day has not been one of Your better.. You deserve to be able to relax and NOT worry... especially after all You have been thru...

 from me

Chere perhaps that is true in a brighter world but I fear in this one it is fight for your rights or be trampled.

On brighter note read your post. Very nice I shall have to get to work on a response. Do like your Mia’s Picture a rather petulant young Miss.

I thought You would like that pic... I like that artist myself.. and her name came to me when I looked at the picture...

I did indeed Ambrosia. Well I have my 1st post up hope you like it and can do something with it as well dear.

I walk into the Inn & take a seat at the bar, It's been a long day & I have a long raod a head of me. I look to the new friend I have made at the Inn.

"My life has done a bit crazy, I may only stop by every not & again & not hangout like i have been having time to do all summer. But i'll still be around, just not as much."

Ah life makes demands on us all dear.

Just come when you can and enjoy.

Can I get you something?

*makes a stong gin and tonic and takes a seat on the stool.*

Anyone here

The storm came on quickly with its lightning and thunder. Ginger had a great fear of lightning. She pressed her back to what she thought was a wall. She was in real terror as her wet clothing clung to her body. Another blast of thunder and she pushed back surprised to feel the wall swing inward. She went with it and as it crashed against the inside wall she blinked to see she was in some kind of bar, breast heaving, eyes wide, she tried to get ahold of herself as people were staring at the soaked blond with terror in her eyes.

Welcome hun. Come on in. ther are a few towels in the back near the baths if you would lke to dry off. you can use my robe as well if you want to let your clothes hang by the fire to dry.

*Pours a brandy and passes it to the drenched young woman*

Here you go, that should warm you up.

Normally she would have refused to undress and use a man's robe but while in terror any suggestion was taken. She walked back to where he had told her and striped off her clothing to reveal large breasts and a tight body. She slipped the robe on that smelled not unpleasantly of the man. She tied the robe tight to her small waist and walked back by the fire to hang her clothing up. She was still in the effects of her terror so she did not notice male eyes looking at her shapely body. She walked to the bar opening her purse and placed a 20 on it and sipped the drink he had made for her. She almost choked as she did not drink. She looked at him questioningly and spoke.

"Thank you"

Actually I'm a girl and the drink is on the house. you look frozen.

Pushes the 20 back at her

And btw I think you have Cgraven's robe. That one is too big for me.

Ginger was so deep into her terror that she did not know what she was doing or saying but the words of the bar tender snapped her green eyes to the woman and she blushed.

"I am terribly sorry"

She drank some of the brandy very slowly. It seem to warm her as it ran down her throat and into her stomach. She felt she had to explain herself.

"I always get like this during a lightning storm. I am terrified of them, you see. Have been since I was a child and yes I am very cold"

Very understandable

No harm.

Enjoy your brandy.

Pours another glass

Take this one as well if you want

Ladies how are you?

I look up to see the calmly young beauty her eyes wide with terror as a clap of thunder and a flash of lightening split the still air.

I am afraid we are in for quite a storm. It’s a night to be snug in the Inn and not out on the sea..

Pap a B&B please.

As I cross the threshold, I take off the hat that did a poor job of keeping my head dry. Shaking the cold riandrops off of the hat, I look around at the inn to see if there are any faces that I need to be aware of. Noticing CG, Pap and a new face that needs no more than a glance to know that she is not a threat, I amble to the bar and ask Pap for a coffe laced with B&B. "I think I'll try your suggestion this time, CG."
turning to the bartender, I ask "How are you Pap?"

Ginger's eyes met the bar tenders, grateful that she had forgiven her stupidity but wary of another drink. The first one was enough she thought as its warming qualities was also bringing on a funny kind of sensation. Her thoughts were disturbed by another clap of thunder which made her take a deep drink of the brandy.

And at the exact moment of terror a man came in and said hello. Ginger merely nodded at him as the terror subsided mostly because of the brandy. She looked down at the robe she wore and saw that it had opened a bit to show her clevage. She quickly pulled it closed. She looked to the fireplace where her clothing hung and decided to see if they had dried so she could be more presentable in a public place.

Just then another man entered looked at her strangly and went about his business. She stood up on unsteady legs. Wondering if the terror or the brandy was causing this to happen. She walked not so straightly to the fireplace and felt her clothing. They were drier but still not ready to put on. As she turned to go back to the bar a bit of dizziness assulted her. She reached out and placed her hand on the brick of the fireplace waiting for it to go away.

I watch as the young beauty makes her way to the hearth. Her long graceful leg playing hide and seek with the slit in my robe. Her shapely calve so seductively tempting. I step up enfold her in my arms when she reaches dizzily for the mantle.

Are you all Right Miss?

there is concern in my voice as well a a tinge of pleasure at her firm young body in my arms.

I’m C G Raven you can call me CG

Strong arms enfolded Ginger and for some reason, maybe the concern in his voice she did not pull away. Instead she leaned into him.

"Dizzy, I think it is the brandy, I do not drink you see"

She breathed a little deeper waiting for the wave of dizziness to pass.

"You said this was an inn right, do you have any vacant rooms"

Yes There are vacant rooms on the second floor. I live in the loft above that.

I enjoy the feel of her as she leans into me and my arms enfolded her gently giving a bit of strength.

So I don’t believe I caught your name Miss.

His warm arms enfolded her and drew her closer as she listened to his words and placed her cheek on his chest.

"Ginger Summers"

He seemed to be supporting her entirely now and Ginger found it strange to be held so firmly against a man's body. But something kept away the natural fear she would have felt in such a situation.

"Do you take credit card to pay for one night's lodging"

"Do you take credit card to pay for one night's lodging"

No Ginger but how could I turn you out on such a stormy night? What kind of a cade would I be to leave you soaked to the skin your cloth clinging to you like a second skin to shiver in the thunder and lighting.

I give you a reassuring little squeeze.

I am sure we can find some way for you to pay later .
