Our executive branch has become a monarchy. Yes they should do whatever they feel is Justified to assert their oversight prerogatives. I don't think it will be as bad for them as it was for the Republicans in impeaching Clinton because with Clinton even though the salacious aspects of the reasons for his impeachment were the least of his problems they were the easiest prove and it was the easiest to discount.

Obviously impeachment would not survive the Senate but they just should do what they always do which is blame Republicans for every impasse. Because we all know that the whole point to bipartisanship is that Republicans are supposed to do whatever the Democrats want them to do. It's never reciprocal but they've always gotten away with that there's no reason to believe they wouldn't in this case from a PR perspective.

As a moral imperative the legislature should get back to legislating and controlling money. They should shut down the government until the spending is whatever they wanted to be. And this should be done by every successive Congress.

Democrats shut down the Vietnam War by defunding it. That was perfectly within their power.

They dragged their feet on every one of his appointments hoping to destroy his presidency The dems are poor losers.

If there was a failure in our DOJ it's the failure of proper investigative protocol towards Clinton ( Obama's DOJ ) This whole investigation by congress is a political sham and not oversight. Unfortunately what goes around comes around. Congress has lost their way. The dems are using every dirty trick to take out this president and it will cost them dearly in 2020.
