There was a small colony that had survived after the Geth attack on Eden Prime, most people said it was a paradise. But how many were wrong about that, Eden Prime was nothing more then a good place to find prisoners. There was a very strong human biotic, everyone knew she was the second strongest human biotic out there. Since everyone had heard of Subject Zero AKA Jack. There was a girl there her name was Emma Carter, she was very young. She was about nineteen years old, she had gray eyes and raven colored black hair that went to her shoulders. Emma lost her parents a few years ago to the Geth that went beyond the veil, he was a scientist and the only person she had in her life. Her mother ended up dying when she was born, and her dad was killed when she was Fifteen.

But she had just gotten ready to get on with her life, she had been home schooled. She was a very bright young woman, but one night when she was on a hill. Looking out over the colony she noticed a shuttle landing in the distance. But then she heard voices coming out, as the shuttle door opened and people came out. They were in yellow and black armor. She heard screams all over as the mercenary's came and started to attack people, but as she stayed in the darkness she noticed what they were doing. Attacking people to stop them from just getting out of line, they were knocking people out. But it was then she heard a man who she thought was the leader, came out asking about the biotic they heard about. She was terrified that they would talk, but no one did.

But then the leader started to grow very angry, gathering up the children. There were about six kids around the ages of five to ten, and the leader put his assault riffle up to a five year old's head. Telling someone to talk, Emma looked down as she closed her eyes. She couldn't allow them to die because of her, she wasn't a monster. And she would turn into a monster, if she let kids die to save her own skin. The mother of the child who's life was in danger, looked in her direction. Emma was the only biotic here, everyone else were just normal colonists. Everyone here were her family, so she prayed silently for a moment. And knew what she had to do, Emma knew her life would be in danger. Since Emma was a genius, she didn't need a translator to be able to communicate with other species.

"Stop!"

She said it was more like a soft yell, her clothing were much different then anyone else there. She wore a black uniform, that showed off her body very well. It covered her neck, arms and legs. She had on black high heeled boots, as she put her hands up showing she was giving up. She knew she would most likely be able to defend herself, since her biotics were very strong. But she wouldn't risk the children's safety, looking down for a moment. She didn't know what to say.

"Please, I wont give you any trouble. Just let everyone go, since I am the one you are looking for."

Finally, she came forward, the man holding the sniper rifle behind the leader of the landing party thought to himself. They had spent the last two weeks scrubbing across the system following leads to find this girl and Cailan, the leader of their group, had gotten more irritable as their search progressed. However, it seems their assignment had finally come to a close, and maybe Wallace could finally get some R & R in for a change.

Wallace thought about spending a week on Omega, in the clubs, gambling, drinking, and maybe making it with an asari or two while he was there, but then seemed to give up on the idea. Blowing a hard earned paycheck on fleeting pleasures on the space station capital of the rouge universe was customary for men in his line of work, but Wallace was pretty different from the men and women he worked with. He was an individual who was more interested in learning techniques and building gadgets than to storm a town and threaten some little girl in order to scare out some woman with a bounty on her head. The Alliance called Wallace an 'Infiltrator,' a tech master who was damn good with a sniper rifle, but eventually his orders did not sit well with him and after spending almost two years in a military jail on Horizon, Wallace left for the Terminus Systems to take up mercenary work. He hooked up with Eclipse and while the orders he is given are just as distasteful, the money is much better and Eclipse will forego a jail sentence in favor of an execution if Wallace decides to get out of line.

"Good," Cailan smiled a tired yet twisted smile at the girl they had been sent to collect. Wallace wasn't aware of how much this girl would fetch for them, or who had the bounty out for here, but he was pretty sure Cailan did and the amount had to be huge. Wallace also knew Cailan probably wanted him or his cohorts to kill a couple of the colonists just to show how serious they were, so Wallace had to act.

Wallace was in his armor, a little less bulky than most everyone else was. Lighter armor allowed him to move more quietly. Wallace removed his helmet. He had a closely shaved head, stubble covered it. His face was tan and a bit weathered. Two years on Horizon aged him quickly, he was only 33 standard Earth years old, but he looked ten to fifteen years older than that. He sharp gray eyes that seemed to channel comparisons to a hawk, maybe that is why he was so good with his Raptor.

"Alright, Eclipse," Wallace said in a loud and confident manner, "Move all of these colonists into that garage." Wallace pointed to a utility garage that probably held a number of makos and whatever else was left on this planet the Geth had destroyed. A few Eclipse mercs looked at Cailan, the CO for the hired guns nodded. Cailan looked at Wallace waiting to hear why Wallace wanted the colonists in the garage.

Once the colonists had been packed away in the garage, Wallace gave another order, "If our bounty tries anything funny," Wallace approached the girl and looked into her eyes with his of piercing steel, "We torch the garage." Wallace hoped to any god who would listen that she would not. But Wallace saw a burning purple in her eyes and felt it around her body. This woman was a biotic.

"Just to make sure," Wallace said as he dialed up his omni tool, "we'll do this."

Nearly instantaneously a spark of electricity generated from his omni tool and shocked the girl. She fell on her back unconscious. A powerful biotic in battle would be able to shake off any neural shock in a fight, but she was not ready, and Wallace took advantage. Two mercs came up to Wallace and Cailan and took the girl into the ship, probably putting her in a brig. Cailan nodded approvingly at Wallace and the two men went to board the ship.

As the mercs were preparing to leave Eden Prime, Wallace turned to Cailan, "Should we release the colonists?"

Cailan laughed, "Leave them in there. I wonder if they'll stay inside that garage after we've hit the mass relay." He laughed again, "Fear is good for a growing colony...weeds out the unfit."

The drive core on their ship fired up as they were preparing to make the final leg of the mission, collect the bounty.

Emma didn't see it coming, before she knew it she cried out in pain and was out cold. When she slowly started to wake she moaned softly, her eyes opened up to notice she was in some kind of cell. Groaning some she couldn't help but notice she was in a cell, slowly standing up she sighed some. It took her a minute to figure out what was going on, her memories brought her up to speed quickly. She felt like she did when she was with Cerberus, she sighed. Sitting back down, her back against the wall as she looked out of the cage she was in. She knew she could put up a fight, but was unsure if she could fly this ship on her own. And the man who knocked her out, she sensed something when she looked into his eyes. He could sense she was a biotic, with that came power within him that she knew.

Thinking back in time, when she had been in Cerberus, she was abused just as much as Subject Zero. They wanted to make two Subject Zero's, but couldn't because she was much older. She was a teenager when they started to work on her, she was the second strongest that they produced. But Jack didn't know about her, she wanted it kept that way. She was Subject One that was her name while Cerberus tortured her, she was a back up in case Jack was killed. But then she got out after Jack escaped, when Emma opened up her eyes again she saw a figure standing in front of her. Narrowing her eyes at the merc and wondered what he or she wanted. Emma couldn't tell if it was a man or woman, the face was hidden. And the figure covered in armor.

Wallace stood in the doorway, unsure of what he was doing in the detention area. Being the number two in a squad had its privileges, like being able to walk past guards no questions asked. Wallace was sure Cailan wouldn't like him nosing around any of the prisoners let alone their prized possession. Cailan didn't tell anybody why this biotic had to be put in the solitary confinement cell locked away in its own heavily guarded room in the detention area of the ship, he just ordered his underlings to do so.

There had to be more too it than the just the fact that she's a biotic, thought the infiltrator. If there is one trait that Cailan has more of than covertness, it was arrogance, so that meant he would risk putting a biotic with the rest of the prisoners to show how not threatened he felt. Then it dawned on Wallace that it was a special instruction from whom ever was paying the bounty, but who could want this person so bad? Wallace thought maybe Cerberus or Aria T'Loak could be behind it, but he was not sure.

He noticed then that the girl was awake. He just breathed and looked at her trying to make out who he was standing in the doorway. The room was gray and dark. One pale light lit the center of the room just in front of the biotic's dome like cell. Shadows surrounded the pathetic ring of light and Wallace stood just at the edge of them.

Wallace took his helmet off and stepped forward into the light. He was holding a modded Carnifex pistol in his hand and had it pointed in between the eyes of the biotic.

"Me and you are going to have a little get-to-know-you time," Wallace said as he pulled a lone chair from the wall to the front of the cage, never moving the barrel of the gun. Wallace sat and held the gun steady. "And if you try anything funny, your brain will get more than just a shock this time."

Emma looked up seeing who was coming in, then seeing his face. She remembered him all to well, then seeing the pistol in his hand. She looked up into his eyes, seeing how cold they were. But there was another emotion there as well, she wasn't good with people. So she didn't know what it was, but right now she just relaxed a bit. Looking down, she thought about how nice death would be right about now. Emma was a young beautiful girl, shaking her head she wondered if he knew what her fate was to be.

Her dark brown eyes scanned the room, her shoulder length blond hair lay relaxed on her shoulders. "You would be dead by now if I wanted to hurt you Merc!" She said looking at him with no fear in her eyes, watching him sit down. "And you have no idea what my fate is do you? Yet I do. Why do you think Ive been hiding since I was four years old? The Collectors want me, they are the ones who put the bounty on my head. Ive been running for many years."

Emma had no idea if he would even care, crossing her arms as she sat on the ground. Her legs stretched out, looking at him with determination. But she really could kill him with just a snap of her fingers. That was how powerful she was, she could probably break out of the cell if she wanted to. But she planned to kill herself, before they could give her over to the collectors. But he didn't need to know that, first Cerberus wanted her, now the stupid collectors.

"What do you want?"

Wallace looked at the young biotic, unflinching. He wasn't taking her threat against him too seriously. The same company that built prison space stations consulted with bounty hunters. If there was no way to hold a biotic, bounty hunting would be nothing short of suicide by cop.

"Listen, you," Wallace sat steady in his chair, "this cell is equipped with an amp defeaner, just like on Purgatory. An asari matriarch couldn't warp her way out of her, you sure as hell can't. You know I'm no fool, why would I risk coming in here if I thought my life would be in danger. As for the Collectors, they're not real, just stories young cadets tell to the women in Afterlife to scare them into taking a couple extra shots of Serrice Ice to calm their nerves."

Wallace then stood up to pace.

"What, I am thinking," he pondered aloud, "is Cerberus is getting desperate. There have been all of these wild tales of the first human SPECTRE, he explodes as some sort of martyr, now every human in the galaxy is looking to join up with the alliance. Cerberus wants to dig their claws into any human they can get at this point, and you think they're after you. Well, I don't know what Cerberus does or is doing, but I bet they pay well, and I hope you're as powerful as you say you are, girly, because you could fetch us one hell of a haul."

She listened to what he was talking about, she wasn't very comfortable with this. So what if they put amps on the cell, if she could find the source she could hack it. But listened about this SPECTRE, and listened to everything else. She was a good listener, which was why a lot of kids liked to tell her all there little problems back home. Not that it mattered now, but she couldn't help but laugh at the comment about the collectors not being real.

"The SPECTRE you are talking about is Commander Shepard, he does what has to be done. And as for Cerberus they will make a deal with you, then turn right around and kill you. I was in the biotic program that they had, I was named Subject one. I am the second strongest human biotic, the strongest human biotic was Subject Zero who's name was Jack. You make a deal with anyone, and you will die. And that is no threat for me to do something, but you need to open up your eyes."

Sighing softly she didn't know what more to say, so she just started to relax best she could. Running her hand against her neck, she didn't really want him to get hurt. Right now things just seemed to run full circle, and knew that in time he would probably be killed. "And I know all about you any way Wallace, and you are way over your head, and so isn't your boss."

Wallace lowered his Carnifex.

"You may be right," Wallace said, "I may be in over my head, but at this point I have to be. There is nothing left in this galaxy for me aside from helping guys like Cailan and wearing the black and yellow, unless I wanted to do IT for some small firm on the Citadel... even that would be a pipe dream."

Wallace studied Emma. Her curves were accentuated by her body suit and they caught the infiltrator. He quickly shook his head. He wasn't one to be done in by the baser urges of the human body, thus his distaste for the seemingly inevitable binge on Omega that would take place after his payment.

"Look," he admonished as he gathered his senses and regrouped. Wallace stood and he once again steadied his pistol. "Tell me more about your time with Cerberus, and then I--"

Buzz! Screech! Buzz!

"We're approaching he drop zone, I think," Wallace told the biotic with uncertainty, "We're about to find out, what's going on."

She looked at him, and before she got a chance to say a thing. She heard some kind of alarm go off, sighing softly she looked down. Looking at Wallace, she had a feeling he would be in trouble. She just hoped he was as good as he wants people to think, her brown eyes scanned the cage and knew she needed to get out of here. Something about this man made her stop, and to actually perhaps protect him. So she thought for a quick second.

"You can't trust Cerberus, the Illusive Man is indoctrinated and so aren't those who work for him. His soldiers are nothing more then husks, he has learned how to do things he has no business doing. He is making new kinds of soldiers, if you turn your back on them they will shoot you. You need to get me out of this cell or we are all going to die" She had fear in her eyes, because she was afraid. Afraid because she was like a cornered animal.

Wallace looked puzzled as he heard the last gasp rambling of the biotic. She raised a whole bunch of questions, to be seriously considered, in a mere instant. But with her yelling, his gun, and the alarm for the drop going off, he didn't have time to pick apart every little word she said.

"We're approaching the drop," Wallace told the captive woman, "a few hours from now and you'll be Cerberus' problem."

After saying that, the infiltrator started to question his own ideas of the situation. Something was afoot. He had vehemently believed the Collectors were only a myth, but maybe this girl was right. And if she was right, what the hell do the Collectors do with their possessions.

He didn't want to think about it. Wallace stowed his gun and started to head towards the doorway to leave the prisoner to whatever fate she was going to find. He was just about to walk out, but waited wit his back toward the girl, if she had one last plead for him to hear.

She was taken back by what he was doing, she collapsed onto her knees. And looked down on the floor, her head hung as she was thinking about what to do. There was nothing she could do, she thought about it for a moment, and reached her arm out as her omni tool came out and she took something out and put it in her hand. "I know who you are, Wallace. You were with the Alliance for a while, you are an Infiltrator. A tech master and one of the best sniper rifle experts. You spent two years on Horizon in a military jail, so you left for the terminus systems."

Looking down she was almost like her own personal shadow broker, perhaps she was a broker for the shadow broker? No one knew anything about her, yet she knew a lot about other people. "If you think you will get paid for a job well done, your right you will. But if you think you will be able to spend your paycheck on Omega you got another thing coming, because who you are delivering me to. Wont let you get back on this ship alive. If Cerberus gets there hands on me, they will turn me into something else. And the collectors, they want me for my skill and knowledge.

I don't need a translator to communicate with any species." Slowly standing and turning her back on him. "I forgive you...." She said finally.

Wallace turned around and briskly walked back to her cage. His gun was on his hip and out of his hand now.

"Look at me," Wallace ordered.

He grabbed her arms pressed her against the cage. They'd be standing flesh to flesh if there weren't metal between them.

"Look at me!" It was a forceful command this time, but it was hushed, and had an uncomfortable pitch to it because he whispered.

Wallace looked into the biotic's eyes and stared deathly serious into them.

"I don't know why I'm doing this," he said more to himself than to his captive as he dialed up a key pad on his omni-tool and powered down the cage and the door to her cell swung open.

She was taken back by a lot lately, and when he walked over to her. Watching how his gun was at his hip, and he grabbed her rather harshly. But when he demanded that she look into his eyes, she did. She saw something there but didn't know what, hearing what he said after he demanded that she look into his eyes. Watching his fingers strike over his omni-tool, and looking over as the door that opened up. She was taken back by all of this.

Looking at him the whole time, as she was freed. She was out now, and didn't know what he was up to. But she heard someone or rather something coming, a blue glow surrounded her body. And she did something no one had ever heard or seen of before, she placed her hand on Wallace 's shoulder. And a blue glow surrounded his body now, and she looked into his cold eyes. She wasn't to sure how he would take to this, but it would help him.

"Someone is coming, I'm not sure if it's Cerberus or the Collectors. I strengthened your shields, so they are much stronger now. If it's the collectors, the shield I put over you will protect you from there biotics." He may have been cold, but he was risking his life to let her go. So she would risk her own life in return, to protect him. Sighing softly she really was contented that she seemed to have made a friend, in the most unlikely situation.

Wallace stopped for a moment, feeling almost like a weight was holding him down. It must have been the biotics at work, but when he moved his hand to touch his own face, it didn't feel any heavier. He didn't look down at her, he just nodded meekly and quietly offered, "Thanks."

Then he snapped back to reality. "Look, we have to discreetly get you to an escape pod, they're on a subdeck below the quarters. Hopefully everyone is readying for the exchange, so nobody should be there, but discretion is key. If anybody is alerted to our movements as soon as you jettison, they're gonna try to blow you out of existence. If we get there undetected and launch you, you have a fighting chance."

Wallace then presented a pair of standard handcuffs and started to put them on. "Wear these, and keep your head down. I assume your biotics can destroy these cuffs easily, but if no one recognizes you, they'll just assume you're a regular prisoner. Timing's gonna be an issue, we have to jettison you right as we're about to do the exchange, so hopefully everyone will be distracted."

Wallace cinched the cuffs maybe a little too tight, he didn't fully trust her, and even though e knew the cuffs were probably useless on her, it still made him feel better.

Wallace then went behind the prisoner and poked her back to get her to start walking. "Don't make any eye contact with anyone, prisoners or guards in the cell block, this will be the hardest part."

The door opened and the regular detention center was ahead.

She listened to him, and could tell just by the way he looked at her. How he spoke to her, but feeling him putting on the cuffs. He put them on tightly, she could get out of them just easily. But she didn't try to even move her arms, taking a deep breath she nodded. Looking down, she allowed her head to go down. Enough for her hair to fall on each side of her face, so her face was covered up. And looking up for just a moment, and saw the other side of the doors.

So feeling the nudge on his back she relaxed a bit, thinking for a moment. And she began to move, making no eye contact at all. She couldn't help help but wonder what was about to happen, but she didn't make any move to be aggressive. She had no reason to. And watched the ground that everything happened, thinking about how to get out of here. Thinking for a moment as to how to deal with everything, but she followed his lead.

Until getting to where they had to get, they were now away from guards and other prisoners. But she still kept her head down, afraid to bump into someone. She just hoped everything would be okay.

They had made it out of the detention block. Wallace was worried his ward may have been disturbed by all of the prisoners, turian, asari, human--men, women and children--pleading for their lives, but she had remained calm. It must have been her time with Cerberus that numbed her to such scenes. He wasn't sure but that was his best guess.

They stepped into the access hall that ran between the battery and the bridge. The biotic started walking toward the sign that said "CREW QUARTERS," but Wallace stopped her.

"In there," Wallace motioned to a maintenance door, "Go in there we won't be seen."

They proceeded through the side door and walked in. The access was dark, and was nearly pitch black when the door shut behind them. Wallace looked up and saw a glowing red light down the dark hall. He figured it was just one of the many lights like it across the ship, but then the light grew more fierce and the sound of burning paper could be heard, and a wave of smoke passed down the hall.

"Who's there?" Wallace's voice nearly cracked as he asked.

A gruff laugh responded. "Relax, Wallace. It's me, Crag." The voice behind the laugh was deep, raspy, and threatening. The footsteps that accompanied were heavy on the steel of the maintenance hall. Crag came up a mere three feet away from the escaping prisoner and Wallace. The ember of his smokable provided a red glow on his face revealing his Krogan face. "Where are you taking the biotic, Wallace?"

Wallace grasped the hilt of his pistol in his hand and hoped to whatever god would listen that the bitoic would keep her cool. "I'm preparing her for the exchange."

"Exchange, is it?" the Krogan laughed. "Well, just be careful, I hear that biotics burn that fleshy pyjak in your armor." The Krogan laughed and passed by heading out of the door that Wallace and his ward had just used.

"Quickly," Wallace ordered as soon as the door shut behind them. They darted through the maintenance hall without further issue and emerged in a better lit but just as empty crew quarters. Wallace told the biotic to follow him as they started towards the escape vessels.

As they made their way to the access ladder to reach the sub-deck they came upon a large floor to ceiling porthole. Outside the porthole catching sunlight off of the curve of the nameless planet where they had anchored into orbit, a giant cylindrical ship with rotating sections came into view. It was nearly 100 times the size of their detention vessel. Wallace had never even heard of such a vessel, let alone have seen one.

He looked shocked. His weathered war-bitten carried the expression of a five year old thinking the bogey man had just arrived. He then looked at the biotic, "This isn't good."

She followed all his orders and didn't want to make him uncomfortable, though she had to admit that passing all those who wanted out was hard. She shed a tear for them silently, and passing the Krogan she sighed some. Looking up once at the ship before them, and knew all to well what ship this was. Hearing what Wallace said, she took a deep breath and cracked her neck. She could easily remove the cuffs herself, but looking at Wallace, she showed him a friendly smile.

"They are here for everyone not just me, they leave no one. They will turn us all into what they want Wallace, Cerberus have been making more soldiers more powerful ones. They work for the reapers now, if you want to keep your humanity Wallace. Your going to have to trust me, that Krogan was right. I could kill you very easily handcuffed or not, but I mean you no harm. Why else do you think I'm not breaking out right now? You freed me and I'm not letting you get hurt or taken by anyone"

Looking up she had a bad feeling about this, if he wouldn't remove the cuffs from her soon she would have to break them. Just because she didn't want anyone to hurt either of them, she growled at the thought of being captive by anyone again. Thinking long and hard for a moment, she looked back at Wallace like he had all the answers of where to go, since he did. She would be running blind if she took off right now without him.

He unlocked her cuffs and stared daggers into her eyes.

"Look, if we leave, we have to become invisible. Someone is gonna be chasing us. That ain't no human ship. No turian, no asari, no salarian, no nothing. I thought the Collectors were fake, but that has to be them."

Wallace jumped down the flight of stairs and extended a hand to his former captive.

"If we can get out of here," he postured, "we have to pick a place to jump from the relay quickly. Otherwise, we're as dead as if we got caught."

Her body started to glow blue as she cracked her neck and looked at him. "Then let's go" The glow vanished as she ran for a small ship, she got right into thee pilots seat, and noticed the ship coming. "About time you see what this biotic can do" She grinned and began to start the small shuttle up. Waiting for him to get on, her hands glowed and the glow shielded them making them invisible. Once he was sitting down she began to move quickly and took off. Seeing the collector ship starting to power up its main gun, she headed for the mass relay.

"We will loose them in the relay, going to Omega, just hang on tight"

As it started shooting at them she dodged the shuttle. And vanished into the relay, and arrived around Omega, she panted some the rush she got from that. But she knew that most likely the crew and people on it would be taken.

Wallace saw the former mining colony of an asteroid turned destination for every denizen in the galaxy appear before his eyes in a mere instant. It was Omega, the place he ultimately thought he would end up after his mission, but not under the same circumstances.

His ward turned rescuer had piloted their ship comfortably into the Omega system and now they were orbiting around the trash heap of an outer space equivalent of an Old Western Earth Saloon.

As they began observing Omega from orbit, Wallace began to feel nauseous. He looked around their life boat and saw the cramped quarters. Right behind the cockpit was a semi-circle of seats with a kitchenette stocked with freeze dried and canned food, along with calorie pills, vitamin pills, and the worst: hydration crystals. Off to the other side was a restroom that vacuumed out to nothing, but completely eliminated the waste.

Wallace had his eyes set on the restroom while he got up from his hilariously named "co-pilot"'s seat, as he had done nothing thus far, and stumbled to the bathroom. He stripped his clothes off and stood naked over the spaceship's toilet. He kneeled down and began vomiting.

She didn't realize what she had done, till they were safe again. Sighing softly, but then she noticed the man she was with, standing up. He looked very Ill, and hoped she hadn't hurt him and didn't realize it? Taking a deep breath she didn't like this to much, and watched him go into the bathroom and heard him throwing up. Slowly standing up from her seat, and going over to the bathroom, Emma sighed softly and stood guard the door, thinking about a few things.

"I'm sorry if I made you sick, but I had to get us out of there. The collectors are making a reaper, and they will take every human they can. Turn us into some kind of material and put us into a reaper. But I wasn't going to let them get us, I'm just sorry to say that everyone on your ship. Will have been taken if the collectors are doing what I think they are doing. " Looking down she didn't know what else to say. What would Wallace do now?

Wallace got off his knees and walked to the sink. He rinsed his mout out and quickly brushed his teeth and used a rinse to eliminate the putrid taste from his mouth. He looked into Emma's eyes and furrowed his own brow.

"I don't know how you know any of this," Wallace started, "but my guess is that at least one of the men on that ship was spared. The Collectors aren't going to get rid of their best hunter. My crew's leader is still alive, and my guess is he has found out we've escaped."

Wallace then ran two fingers through Emma's hair, behind her ear, and down her neck. "What you did was save my life," he said gratefully, "thank you. I don't care if I got a little nauseous." He then smiled at her earnestly.

She listened to what he said, and when he put his hand up. She didn't know what he was doing with it, but what he did was very odd for a hunter. She had pegged him right so to speak, that she could see the good in him behind the cold eyes he gave everyone. And seeing the smile, made everything so much right. It was amazing really, taking a deep breath she nodded. Emma was happy she was able to do what she did, she knew she wasn't as good as Joker from the alliance, but was good enough.

"I know more about the collectors then both, some people have thought I was the shadow broker about all the information I know. But being a biotic, my abilities are much different then any other biotic. Ive been around, I may only be eighteen but Ive learned to listen and know how to hack into any computer any place. Most information I got was from hacking, I hacked the Alliance once. Which is why I know about you, well know some things about you"

Thinking for a moment, they were docked at Omega now and didn't know what to do. But she was curious.

"Do you know for a fact some are still alive? Or are you just guessing Wallace?"

Wallace still had his hand on Emma's head, but pulled it down when she asked the question. He broke the eye contact and looked at his shoes and then rubbed his chin slowly, but furiously, almost as if he was trying to break his own jaw. He was deep in thought.

"I don't know for sure," he told her, hedging his bets, "but the chief was acting really weird. It was like he knew more about the exchange than he led us to believe. Worse, I started to get the feeling that I was supposed to be exchanged as well, maybe even most of the crew. I just hope..."

Wallace shook his head as he trailed off. Then he abruptly shifted gears, "Well, if we're going to throw my employers off of our scent, we better not let it be so pungent." He smiled and pointed at the shower head on the wall of the small bathroom of the lifeboat. The bathroom was small, a toilet like you'd see on a standard commuter vessel, a sink, the aforementioned shower head, and one drain in the middle of the floor that was sent to the waste container.

"Ladies first?" Wallace asked as he gestured with his hands to the shower controls.

She had listened to him, seeing the way he was angry made her wonder if she had upset him? But she didn't know really, so before she could really think about it. She nodded some, before him she stripped. She wasn't bashful she never was, and perhaps that could be a problem. But it depended on what kind of man Wallace was, if he would rape her. But the way he touched her and looked at her? She trusted him, it could be just all for show.

But deep down she had good feelings about him, and she turned on the water. Enjoying the feel of it on her skin, soaking her hair and body. And a soft melody escaped her lips, and grinned. "You can join me if you want Wallace, there is enough room" She said simply.
