Lol. It's funny but they have an even higher resolution setting in the works. Not sure what exactly it was but it's supposed to be made for tvs that are capable of something like 2600X1800 lines or something.

I know, it's so silly. Most devices still don't support more than 480i....

And yet my DH just felt the need to buy a new laptop that has facial recognition as a security feature! Really? I mean really? Is that necessary to play WOW?

Is WoW necessary for anything? *cough cough* I mean, really, about the only thing it's good for is the PS3 and X360. The Wii was SUPPOSED to have HD support but that got nixed, and the Gamecube, the best of the last console generation, had it removed on grounds that "no one is buying the cables"....because they couldn't afford the tvs required for progressive scan...

I confess that I am a male shopaholic. But I only buy things I know I'll one day use (as opposed to forty pairs of shoes)

Such things can be fooled fairly easily, actually. They're not that secure. Voiceprint recognition is more accurate because it's harder to fool an audio sensor than it is a video one, but it can still be done. And fingerprints...well, foolable, but not easy.
