The Coven II

Elizabeth

She interrupted in a flash "You are still sleeping with Tim? girl are you out of your mind?! Never mind.. As for late it's alright. Mrs Tillman has already been and gone." Lizzie sighed and got up from behind the counter.
"Your lucky she's gone too Serina" Lizzie grinned at her "Your top isnt covering much." She left it at that and walked over to the tea pot/ coffee pot. Making more tea she rattled off some nonsense or another about work. "Serina, if you get time while im on lunch will you inventory the stock under the counter for me?"

She then turned and hurried to set the tea pot down. She forgot her new pet was under the counter.
"Hang on Serina, I want to show you my new Pet.. your going to love this.. he just wandered in here and well you know me.. Sucker for males."

Lizzie walk back to the counter and knelt down. Coming eye to eye with Luke. She smiled and winked at him. She carefully picked him up and set him on the counter top. Then picked up her book and set it with her purse.
"Serina, meet Luke... And dont say it is a weird name for a Cat. I happen to like the name. Plus i didnt think a male cat could hold his head up walking around with a name like Pussy."

She really should have lectured Serina for being late.. Again. But didnt have the heart to do it. Punishment alone was seeing Tim. Lizzie was not nice to Tim, ever. There was just something about him that bugged her. Maybe it was his ego and opinions.
"I do need to get heading to lunch I am starving.. Have you eaten yet? Or you want me to get you something?"

Luke

He had been sitting, taking mental notes as he lay there. He yawned, and opened an eye at the sounds of a flushed women rushing in. Suddenly, his mistress was picking him up, and the wrong way! His mucles, bunched the wrong way, screamed in protest, and he kicked his legs up when she sat him down. He shook himself, and looked at the new person.

He blinked. She was wearing a thin shirt and no bra. He looked her up and down. Not bad. He laty down, and streched his legs out. He almost wished he was a kitten again. Every women loved kittens. Oh well, couldn't have everything. Maybe someone would take it upon themselves to scratch his stomach.

"Yes mistress, I have to obey your orders. Although not if they hurt you or me in the process of being obeyed. And if you ever get me a collar, I want it to read 'Lucas'. Got to have some sort of pride, you know."

He looked back at the newcomer. She was wearing a dress. He wondered if she forgot to wear any panties today, too. He yawned. Those questions could wait. Right now, he felt like laying there, and being the center of attention. Maybe sunning himself. Maybe he'd find the answers to these great questions after sunset, when he cared a little more about the answers.

Elizabeth

She gave Luke a dirty look then sent him a message.
Picky arent ya? Lucas it is then..... maybe I should have you fixed too She giggled at that, and watched Serina look over the cat.

"Cat's are cocky by nature, and alot of work I am sure.. But at least i wont be alone in that big house. And If i can get used to a cat, who knows maybe a man, then kids?" Lizzie laughed at that, and grabbed her purse, the book, and her keys.

"Ill be back Serina, as always in forty-five minutes, want anything from the burger stop? Or the store? Ive got to go get cat food, and whatever else is needed for Luke."

Serina said she was fine, just wanted a bottle of water. She went to work, and Lizzie headed out to her car.
Well lucas.. you coming along?

Lizzie looked back over at Serina, and what she wore. Smiling she wondered how many males would be hanging out here when she got back.

Luke

"Mistress, I prefer Luke to Lucas, I just want my collar to read something refined. And I doubt if you could get me fixed if you tried. I think I'll stay here. Why move? And don't you dare buy me that disgusting cat food. I'd prefer some fish, maybe a little raw meat. Canned cat food at the least. That dry stuff is horrid!"

He continued to lay on the counter, and turned to face the new person. Staring calmly at her. Serina was her name, was it? Interesting. He watched.

Not much else to do. Definitely a boring day. Well, for a cat, at least.....

Elizabeth

She laughed, but didnt explain to Serina.
Alright, no cat food. ill get a collar tomorrow in town with a lisence with your name on it. I was teasing about getting you fixed Luke.

She didnt want to appear stupid for just standing there so she went over to her tea cup and sipped it.
"Im going shortly Serina, just wanted to finish my tea."
Lame excuse.
luke, as for your umm changing forms.. I need to know what size you are, or do you know? You will need something to wear, and I am not sure if there is anything around the house that will fit your human form

She set her tea cup down, and cleared her thoughts. She didnt want to think about that right now. A nude male appearing out of no where, thats got to be something to see. She felt flustered, and blushed a little.

She grabbed her keys and things once more, walking over to Serina, she kissed her cheek and said "Take care of Luke for me and no closing the shop while im gone ya hear?" She laughed and headed out. Serina was a good friend in lizzie's mind, and reliable even if she was late. Plus she was the only female in town who didnt think lizzie was going to steal her boyfriend or curse her to an early death. The whole town still thought of Lizzie as a witch.. just because of some nonsense in the past.

Lizzie headed into town and to the burger shack. Getting her lunch, she drove to the store and picked out some fresh Trout and Salmon. Picking up things she needed around the house, and a tv guide. By the time she drove home she still have 15 minutes to herself. She seen a few customers at the Hands, so she knew serina wasnt too busy.

Lizzie ran inside her home putting away the groceries, and headed upstairs to refresh her make up.

Elizabeth

She looked out the window at the end of the hallway to see how busy "Healing Hands" was. There were no cars in the parking area now.
"Good just enough time then"
She felt heated up and uncomfortable. She needed to take a shower. She didnt want to go back to work biting Serina's head off because she was a little ornery.

She headed into the bathroom to do just that, and changed her mind. She really had no time for this right now. Sighing in frustration, she left the bathroom and went back down stairs. Getting a coke, and a sandwhich she bought Serina, she headed out. Then recalling the bottled water, she ran back to the fridge. her mind was occupied with alot of random thoughts. She needed to get out and do something. She spent so much of her free time making mixtures for her business, she cant recall the last time she went dancing. She couldnt even recall the last time she actually got laid either. Her face flushed a little, "think happy thoughts Lizzie, your not that deprived... yet"
She breezed back into the store via the back door and smiled. Ok no smile yet, sit at your desk and gather your thoughts, then go upfront with Serina's lunch.

She sat in her desk chair and leaned her head back, closing her eyes to think of something other than her boring life style.

Serina

ooc:I still need someone to play my 18 year old sister....anyone up for it? or should i scratch the charachter?

Serina was more than thankful that Lizzie didn't yell at her, even is she was right about needing to get rid of tim. Lord knew her sister thought he was creepy, and really, she could do so much better. "Oh well" Serina sighed to herself and started checking the inventory. As soon as she was done, she went back to Lizzies new cat and looked at him. "Well Cat, its just you and me now, whatcha wanna do?" she laughed at herself for talking to a dumb animal. She reached over and stroked the cats belly. "Luke was it? what a weird name for a cat...but then, lizzie is kinda weird huh? Shes so gorgeous, i can't beleive she doesn't have a man right now. Hmm, maybe i should try and find a love spell, i wonder if i could do it, i heard there were witches in my history....hmmm" She laughed at herself again for thinking such idiotic thoughts. She streched her arms above her head, making her skimpy shirt raise above her breasts and flash the cat, and anyone who might have been looking in the shop then. "OH MY!" serina exclaimed and pulled her shirt back down, blushing. The cat seemed to be paying attention to her now, as if he knew what she had done...
"you cat, are creeping me out" and she went to go see if she had heard Lizzie coming in the back...

Elizabeth

She sat at her desk, enjoying the quietness of the room. Serina hadn't heard her enter by the backdoor. Sitting down she kicked up her feet and leaned back in her chair. She couldnt hear any conversation going on in the store from her office, but it did'nt bother her. Sometimes she just needed to be in total silence to relax and feel better. Breathing in deeply, and letting out slowly she felt her body give in to the relaxation she desperately seeked. She knew tonight when the sun set Luke would change into human form. She mentally thought of all the rooms in the house, and which one she would give him. And she was sure she had some sweats and tshirts left over from her Father's things. Her parents room, which was down the hall from hers, was a relic, a shrine. She left everything they way it was the morning they left. She cleaned the room once a week, and left. She couldnt bring herself to take their room. Maybe someday when she married, maybe then it would be her place. She decided to put Luke in the room next to hers. It was done in tasteful darker colors, perfect for a male. Plus it was never used as a guest bed room. She heard footsteps in the hallway, Serina was coming towards her office. Putting a smile on her face, she put her feet down and set the food closer to the edge of the desk.
"Hey serina! Get in here girl, brought you some fuel." Lizzie knew she heard her, so she sat and waited for her to make her way into Lizzie's office.

Serina

"You know, that cat of yours is kinda strange! i was talking to it and i SWEAR it understood me" Serina told lizzie as they were eating lunch in lizzies office. "and when i muttered some joke about a love spell, he gave me the strangest look, where'd you get him anyways?" She barely waited for an answer before continuing "OH! and i did inventory, heres the list, nothing urgent, except maybe for the gingko, theres only a bit left." She handed Lizzie a list written on store stationary.
"Anyways, gossip! whats new with you chica?" Serina finally paused and took a huge bite of her sandwich.

Elizabeth

She laughed at her chattering. Serina always was one to make her laugh.
"Well.. Luke just wondered in this morning. Have no idea where he came from. But I intend on keeping him around." She didnt want to get into the whole "witchcraft" topic. She still didnt believe much of it.. Since she wasnt a witch.
"As for whats new with me............ Nothing!" She half laughed half sighed.
"I've been working so much lately I havent done much of anything else. Life seems to be getting more and more 'work'.. All well.. Ill change that soon enough. I was thinking of going out tomorrow night. You know there is only the "Pub" in town for dancing and mingling... What about you Serina? What is new with you, besides loser boy?"

She quickly felt bad for that "Im sorry.. Whats up with you and Tim?"

Serina

"Loser boy huh?, yeah, i'm beginning to think you're right, if only he knew how much better his sister was than him in bed" Serina laughed at Lizzies shocked expression. "I'm trying to figure out a nice way to make him move out soon, maybe tomorrow, then we should go to the pub. I don't trust you alone with all those hot guys, you might not be able to control yourself." they both laughed, the supply of hot guys in this town was depressiingly low.
"Do you mind if i take a break for about, 2 hours? i'll be back by three, but i need to go do some laundry, this is my last article of clean clothing." Lizzie laughed and nodded, Serina hugged her and ran out, petting luke as she bounced to her car.
Going to her apartment, she found Tim watchign tv and with little fanfare said "Tim, i think its time you moved back to your house, kay?" He was shocked, but being as lazy as he was, he had little to pack, and simply swore at her and left.
As soon as he was gone, she gathered her laundry, changed from a skirt to her flannel pajama pants, leaving the skimpy shirt w/no bra. She lugged her bag to the bar and soon got to the local laundry mat. As she was doing laundry, she noticed the days paper, with a cheap couch cirlced in the classifieds, "What kind of loser would buy a couch for $100 from the classifieds?" she asked herself as she sat down to wait, in the suprisingly empty biulding.

Elizabeth

She agreed "Yeah we should go out tomorrow night.. a girl night out type of thing.. Sounds fun!" Lizzie didnt know what to say about the sister comment. That was something she never really thought about. When Serina left, Lizzie sat at her desk thinking about it. What would it be like to sleep with another female? She just couldnt imagine it. She laughed and shook her head, Serina was one to keep you on your toes. She sat back in her chair and kicked her feet up on the desk. Her shorts were nice and loose and comphy. Scooting down a little she closed her eyes. If anyone entered the store she would hear the little bell chime. She had honestly forgotten Luke was in the other room too.

Her mind drifted to sexual thoughts. She needed to go out, meet some new people.. Something. She thought about reading the book in her purse. Sitting up she pulled it out, and flipped it open to the round about middle and looked over some spells. There was one for protection that interested her. Another for seducing a certain person into wanting you, wanting you so much they would be driven into a non stop sexual lusting. And it had a warning for that spell too. Grinning, Lizzie kept looking through the book. The minor spell she cast last night was nothing compared to some of these in here. She read the introduction before the spells. In fine small print at the very botton, it stated clearly, "casting brings on a special glow, forbidden urges, lust"
Well now she knew why she was antsy last night. She rolled her eyes. Yeah like casting a spell is going to make me drop my pants and start wildly finger fucking myself right there on the spot.. Who wrote this crap??? She shook her head and closed the book, once again leaning back in her chair. She didnt believe in all that hocus pocus stuff. She had proof in the book and the Familiar showing up.. But her mind just wouldnt accept that fact.. Not yet anyways. She would have to consider this seriously, and go from there. Casting spells wasnt wise either. Altering fate could cause severe measures.
Her body tingled from head to toe, as if she was being watched. Knowing she was alone, for the moment, she didnt open her eyes. Just laid there and let images dance through her mind of seducing some stranger.

He brushed aside his dirty blond bangs, looking at the store with some surprise. Didn't expect to find this kind of shop. It was a small town, most new age shops were found in malls or something like that. This, however, seemed nice; almost homey.
At least it was something to take his mind off of that stupid couch. It didn't even have springs. Worse of all, he swore there was a piss stain on it. For the love of god, a piss stain.
Come on, why would they even sell it?
He stepped inside, looking around curiously. There were a few things that interested him, but not enough to buy it. He only cared about the incense sticks, mostly cause they got rid of the smell.
He smiled, looking over at the counter.
No one was there.
Wasn't that odd. Surely, the store wasn't closed. The sign itself said open. He stepped over to the counter, looking down on the inside. Nope, no one there either.
"Hello?" he called out to the empty store.

She heard the door chime. getting up from her desk, she walked down the little hallway. Some guy was in her store calling out
"Hello?"
She put on her smile and stepped into the shop area.
"Hello.. May I help you with something Sir?"

He just stared, looking at her. Not quite believing what his eyes were looking at.
"Ummm," he smiled, "Hi. My name is Nicholas. I just moved here, looking to go to a cheaper college and all..."
He smiled, why was he giving her his life story?
"Anyway, I saw this shop, and thought it was simply amazing. The only other thing you have around here is a grocery store and a few local places. This is simply amazing."
He was acting like he was fourteen. He wiped his palms, they seemed sweaty all of a sudden.
"Yeah, Hi. I just wanted to buy these."
Didn't he already say hi?
He smiled, nervously, looking at her with a intensity. Something that was not quite lust, but far from childish flirting.

Elizabeth

Her smile never faltered. He seemed a little aggitated for some reason?
"Well, thank you. I love my little shoppe here." She walked behind the counter to the cash register and rang up his bill.
"Would you like anything else Nicholas?"
She kept eye contact even though he appeared to be staring at her very strangly. She supposed it was because her black hair, ice blue eyes, and white complextion. People often stared at her for no apparent reason.
"Are you ok? Do you need to sit down or something? Perhaps look around a little more?" She didnt know what else to say to the new comer.
"And welcome to town, I am Elizabeth Smith."

Elizabeth?"
He said the name, letting it come out of his mouth. Such a lovely name. It suited her perfectly, for some reason.
"Ummm, no. I think that'll do it."
He saw her put them in a bag, handing it to him. He smiled again, oh no. It was probably the only friendly girl in town, and he was totally ruining it. Why couldn't he just talk to girls like he talked to guys?
He sighed, as he walked to the door.
No... turn around.
He opened it, a bell sound came from overhead.
Just turn around and ask her to marry you.
No, a date. Maybe start with something lighter. Marriage will come later.
He shook his head, taking another step out.
NO!
That word shook him, stopping him in his tracks. He turned around slightly, staring at her. He must have looked like an idiot, walking, stopping, turning around, staring like a silly goose.
"There is something else, actually."
He walked back inside, leaning in on the counter, he looked at her milky features, something danced in the shadow of her eyes.
"I'm totally new here, and have no clue as to where anything is. I was wondering if you could take me out, show me a few sites, maybe even a little history on this place?"
He swallowed, somehow his mouth was all dry.
"It would really help me out. Maybe sometime later towards this afternoon, or evening? Whatever time your off. I'm pretty much free for the day, don't start classes until next week."
His was smiling stupidly again, but he couldn't help himself. It was an involuntary thing when to look stupid when he acted stupid.

Elizabeth

She wasnt sure what he was hinting at in those words. It sounded sincere to her ears.
"well... I close shop at 4 today, i guess we could go sight seeing a little.. I am only free tonight though from 4 til 6. I have to get home before nightfall and get some work done. That sound ok?"
He nodded his head
"Come back in an hour and a half then and I'll take you around a little" She smiled warmly at him. He seemed like a nice guy. It wouldnt hurt to show him around the town. people knew her and her car. He wouldnt get away with anything crafty in this town. everyone knew everyone elses business.

"Sounds perfect, I will see you then."
He smiled, very happy. At least he had met someone. He lightly petted a cat on the counter, before leaving. There seemed to be a little extra bounce in his step. He nearly floated on air to the old laundry place.
Inside, it was still empty, except for one person. She seemed to absolutely need a laundry day. Only a white tight blouse, and he swore she wasn't wearing a bra.
Whoah....
What kind of town was this?
He peeked over her shoulder, seeing she was on the same classified page as he was earlier.
"I wouldn't go look at that couch if I were you, It's horrible... The word would be ghetto."
He nodded, moving over to his laundry, which was right next to her. He brought it out, watching as one pair of silk boxers lightly fall onto her leg.
"Sorry," he said, picking it up, and moving to a dryer. There, he put in the correct change, and watched as the stuff tumbled and twirled towards dryness.
He sat down in the row of chairs opposite of her, seeing she was looking at him. Did he stand out that much? How small of a town was this?
"Hi, I'm Nicholas. I'm sort of new in this town, it hasn't been the best of mornings. I nearly had a heart attack a few minutes ago."
He wiped the blond bangs from his sight, sighing deeply. It was starting again, a beautiful girl, and he was making a jackass of himself.
"So, doing laundry?"
Did those words come out of his mouth? Oh my... he took in a deep breath. Unsure if he should still be alive. Shaking his head, he only reclined in his seat, maybe if he didn't say anything else things wouldn't get worse.

Elizabeth

She wondered what she had gotten herself talked into as he left the store. All well, to late now to change her mind. She should have said something else. She sat down on the stool behind the cash register and looked at Luke laying there, apparently napping. The store was once again silent. She reminded herself to get a radio or something for this place. All she could hear was the ticking of her grandfather clock, and Luke's purring.

For the next half hour Lizzie helped various customers with thier purchases, nothing extravegant was bought by anyone. And no one had jokingly asked her for a secret potion to kill their spouses either. She laughed when people asked her if she sold that. She had one hour to go til closing time. She swept the floor, wiped off of the shelves, climbed up to the higher places and cleaned all her little trinkets along the walls. She had the store in antique white and cherry oak, gave it a homey feeling to her. Plus little things here and there. Mostly black and white pictures on the walls, some advertisements for websites for wiccan items. Brass half moon hung on one wall.

The whole time she was cleaning, her eyes kept wondering back to Luke. She had so many questions she wanted to ask. Namely one. She wasnt sure if she should ask or not. She finally put away the cleaning supplies, and pocketed the list of stock they needed. Walking back to the counter she sat back down on the stool, and slid it up to the counter. Looking at Luke, she saw his eyes open and stare back into hers. Almost as if he knew she had questions. This time she didnt speak with her vocal cords, but used her mind to touch his.
luke.. I just have so many questions, but one burns the most in my mind here. So answer me this, if you know the answer that is.. The summons spell I cast last night.. It called you? Thats not all of the question, just need to know that part first..

Elizabeth

She looked up at a tall figure dressed in total black.
Oh great another golthic lover. She thought.
"Hello Sir, welcome to Healing Hands." She smiled warmly and walked from behind the counter to the shelves.
"Well as far as teas go there are so many here, what kind are you looking for?" She turned around and pointed to the two shelves of packaged teas.
"There are some for sleep, energy, migraines, sexual needs, some just for the flavors...?"

She did not know what to think of this guy, he was deffinately new in town. She looked around the side of him, and seen the harley parked outside. yeah.. New in town.

Elizabeth

She extended her hand and lightly shook it "nice to meet you Max, i'm Elizabeth Smith, owner of healing hands. Call me Lizzie for short." She walked back to the counter where Luke lay and asked if that was everything he needed?

She then recalled his question.
"Well there is the "Pub" It is a local hang out for the adults in town, and the Burger Barn where the teenagers hangout. There is pool and such at the Pub. Not really alot to do as in club wise, and the like. But if you like sailing or fishing, hiking.. Those types of things, there is plenty of that in this town."
She moved to rest against the counter and slowly stroked Luke's ears. She kept her eyes on Max, smiling. It wasnt good for business to ignore the customers.
