I get that. I like the fact that we get the four seasons, but sometimes they are a pain in the ass. So as you get older I can see why some people move away from it.

Is he a big golfer, or does he prefer the coastline and gulf over the dry desert air of the SW?

I have been seriously considering moving south when I retire. This arthritis shit that comes with aging sucks ass and the cold makes it worse.. I may have to give up hunting in the winter and start wrestling alligators

Alligators, pythons, panthers. Florida could have a lot of options for you?!

I am just always curious as to whether people prefer the SE or the SW. I love the scenery of the SE, but the humidity may be a deal breaker for me. I would probably lean towards desert life myself.

I am happy where I am in Georgia. So, I doubt I will move anywhere in retirement. The humidity is an issue, though.
