Hope everyone is well,
I was reminded by a mate of mine how, because we used to work shift work ( different jobs but similar shits ) we used to find the oddest week night clubs, and there used to be an ABSOLUTE dive called Metros on Tottenham Court rad that did £1 vodka and cokes on a tuesday,

Our none shift work friends used to dread it when our days off matched up, and we'd try to drag everyone to that place haha

Anyone else got weird week night out memories ( or lack of )

But that’s been dealt with, so, how is everyone’s Tuesday?


I remember when the restaurant Applebee’s starting doing $1 drink specials along with half priced appetizers after like 6pm.. me and the girls I worked with at the daycare would get together like once every couple of weeks and just cut loose. Nothing like a bunch of half-hungover teachers dealing with tiny humans at 7am the next day

Have you read anything by Karen Marie Moning? The Fever series is listed as urban fantasy but has romance, fae, dark magic and more. The first one is Darkfever.

I downloaded it last night and was able to get a few chapters in!

I just confirmed with my husband, who was at Purdue University in the late '80s/early '90s that Tuesday night was penny beer night. Well drinks were a quarter.

I like their food but it seems everytime I eat there bad things happen. So many times that we’ve renamed the place Crapplebees.
