We have a 13-year old beagle/foxhound mix (we think) and a 2-year old little possibly terrier mix (he’s a real mutt but I think he must have some Jack Russell in him based on his bouncy-ness).

They both get lots! My mother used to make fun of me for sitting with the older one every morning when I wake her up for breakfast with belly rubs
You’d like mine, they don’t sniff crotches or butts (at least not human ones)! Your legs, yes, or your hands if you offer them. The little one will jump up on you, though.
