I was just about to say, all this has made me wanna rewatch Alcatraz again. That Chrysanthemum...

What about Western adjacent things like Westworld? I wasn't expecting to like it that much but that show was fantastic (the first two seasons anyway).

I just couldn't get into it. I wanted to like it but it never did it for me.

Red Dead Redemption games. Brilliant western stories in those.

Some good films. Where eagles dare is great.

Alcatraz well worth a visit so you can get a sense of how big and bleak the place is and just how strong the water currents are.
Only Sean Connery has ever escaped from there

Same. In COVID I had a Bond catalogue marathon. One of the easiest marathons I've ever done.

All these Clint Eastwood posts and not one mention of Every Which Way But Loose? The only Clint buddy movies where he has more lines than the buddy are that and the sequel, Any Which Way You Can. In the Line of Fire is a personal favorite too, Clint at his crusty best!
