It's definitely polarising. For me it was the perfect medium. I much prefer subtractive media over additive.

Currently I play with acrylic paint. No skill, I just enjoy putting paint on canvas and seeing what I can make. Sometimes it's pretty, other times it's painted over.

The funny thing is, I was planning on doing art today, I was going to do ink own sketches, but now im wondering if this is a push for watercolors.....
Its juat gonna be Disney princesses .... nothing fabulous and fancy

I haven’t painted in decades. I loved oil painting back in high school. I’ve always said I wanted to start up again…..maybe when I retire or the kids are grown.Currently I play with acrylic paint. No skill, I just enjoy putting paint on canvas and seeing what I can make. Sometimes it's pretty, other times it's painted over.

Experimenting and playing with the medium is often the best way to learn about its nature.
