I wish you could try some of my roast. It has notes of the spices used in hot cross buns so when made into a milk coffee, it's quite a convincing liquid hot cross bun.

I practically lived at the barn when I was a teenager. I worked there to earn my lessons and was in horse heaven.

When I went to school, I fell away from it... Then life, etc... And next thing you know I'm 48 and broke a vertebrae in my back.

I promised myself that if I healed up, I was getting back on a horse. I'm almost 4 years post-surgery now and finally felt ready to give it a try.

When I came home from my first lesson, I was just glowing. So much happy from that one hour on a horse.

I love animals but there is something special with horses. My youngest ride a lot until two years ago so I've spent my share of time in the stables.

I'm so glad you're doing so well! My grandparents had and my uncles now have horses that train for Mexican rodeos. They're so beautiful and they're treated like children of the family. I think their stalls are nice than they're own house!

This is so amazing! I've always loved horses and have always wanted to truly learn to ride and invest time into horses and everything that comes with it. I want to expose my kids to it soon. Especially my oldest daughter has always been drawn to them.

That's awful about your injury! And life certainly has a way of putting up walls around the things we love to do sometimes, doesn't it. I'm very happy to hear you're finally able to be getting back out there and that its fulfilling and rejuvenating you
