The Cozy Corner

My question for everyone that has Teams meets. Why does it seem like you get a group on a meet, and no one has their camera on? Couldn't we just have done this on a conference call then? We aren't sharing documents. WTH?
Plus it makes it easier for scheduling, just send an invite & click on the link when it’s time.

We have a Teams license, but my direct team/reports hiss like a pack of rabid cats whenever anyone even mentions it by name. We just do a combo of Zoom + Slack LOL

I love it, cause it appeals to the logical side of me, but if you don't like schematics/data models, pipeline flows, data governance, etc. it can be mind-numbing LOL
Actually, I sort of get it. I was a project manager for a data center / colocation facility before I resigned. I didn't sit though those meetings but I did sit through the construction phase side of it and managed multiple vendors for each project.

And @Nylonian - yeah I’ve fell down the rabbit hole of fountain pen ink. I’ve learned filling the converter is not hard and YouTube taught me how to clean the pen properly. Bought a couple supplies for that that and a new pen….

Oh nice. Which one did you get? Can't wait to see some writing samples from it. Cleaning is not hard at all but can be annoying to do when you have a lot of pens inked up. That's why I only keep 2-3 pens inked up these days and use dip pens for when I just wanna play/doodle.

I could never do what you do. I just make sure that pricing and promotion data is correct for coffee machines and occasionally meet with roasters about beans and attend conventions. Oh that and make the site look pretty but that's pretty straightforward. 😅

Debates making joke about Carmen and construction workers 🦺

Kinda weird now it's over though, it's like now what? 😆
Not quite really but it feels like that
Congratulations! And yeah, it do be like that. Kinda how I felt when I finished Elden Ring. It's like: "That was freaking amazing. Nothing will ever top that. Also, what do I do now?" ☺️
