The Curse of the Black Room

Eden sipped her drink. "There won't be many records, This town is superstitious and believes recording something like that would be bad luck but there is more then likely a few documents. You might want to check town records as well there is bound to be something. The original owner's last names were Johnson. I hope you find something" She stood up brushing her hands on her pants. "Now I must be going I have errands to run. If you need anything at all don't hesitate to call or come over. Even if I'm not there my house keeper will help you as best she can. It was nice meeting you and please be careful. I can show myself out thank you" And with that Eden entered the house to get her keys and coat and then walked out the front door. She took one last long look at the house then climbed into her car and headed home.

Eden answered the phone when Ginger called. "Sure I'll meet you for lunch, where would you like to meet?"

Eden arrived a few minuttes late and hurried in. She spotted Ginger at one of the tables and walked over. "Sorry I'm late. Is something wrong your face is as white as a sheet and I sense something. Did something happen?"

Eden nodded listening to her every word not saying anything until she was done. "It isn't just your imagination dear it is the evil in the house trying to draw you in. You mustn't let it. If you want you may stay at my house tonight to try to relax. We can rent a movie or something and just have a girls night in. That will not only get you out the house but might help you with your stress"

Eden smiled "Of course it's no inconvenience. I get sometimes anyway, it will be a nice change to have someone to talk to.

Sure I will go with you" Eden smiled and stood up. "Shall we get going? we might want to do this before dark"

Eden followed Ginger in her car. She glanced at the sky praying that they got this over before the sunset. Of all things she didn't want the top of her list was being in that house after dark.
