I want to have at least even numbers....

As we discussed, I think I will wait till you return the following day to the marketplace to introduce my character. Being the person I believe she will be, it is not fair to put such a burden on Rila. Brenna is a prisoner of war, and as such is not willing to be taken so easily.

Just to let everyone know I don't control others characters in my posts.

I let you play your own character and if I have to wait for a response then I will wait. That is just how I view it as it is your character so I won't assume that I know what you are going to do with them next.

Just clearing that up about me since I see others taking on dictations of peoples characters that they are interacting with here.

Oh I try to leave my posts mostly open ended so that the other person may react to the motions that were taken and wait until they have posted to proceed. Just my own thoughts since I did do a lot of role playing over AOL... I know this isn't as fast as the other but I would like to give the option for the person to hold their own character. I do allow many options for what can be done but don't tie them into just one unless it is something very specific.

Ariah is a very rare and unusual slave within this world. She was born of a hispanic mother and an african father. Issues

Alright I don't mean to be taking up the OOC board but I have a few comments to make that deal with my own concearns.

First off Eric, what century is this taking place in?

Also remember on the male part, your characters are vikings... try to take on a sembelance of the mind set. Vikings were harsh... they didn't ask they demanded. If you are going to be a Dom over a character try to make your dialoge more commanding and less asking. Not will you do this.. You are going to do this.... Sure vikings could be gentle at times but if they are taking a slave for pleasure it is more done on their accord with little thought to the pleasure of the slave.

Also try to come up with a list of duties to keep the play going... as well as assign specific rooms for people to describe so we know the setting. I tried to describe the areas but this isn't my thread and I won't do all the work for it I'm sorry I don't have that much time to give to it. I will post when I can and what not but if I'm doing all the description of the setting I won't stay.

Okay I've ranted... I'm done now and will wait for Faisl to return so I may have Lyra go back to her dancing

Ulfrik is a hardened fighter and raider. He has served with Leif for the past 5 years, becoming his Lieutenant 3 years ago. He is very skilled with axe, sword, and spear. His ferocity in battle is matched only by his lust for women.

This is just a suggestion, and anyone can take it or leave it, but I have noticed that it is easier, as a reader of the story, to get into the story itself if the signature lines on each post is turned off. It is easy for each of us to do. Just uncheck that box before you submit your post.

This is just my opinion...and you can take it or leave it.

Where to begin...

Folks...

I am learning...please be patient with me...

I have recieved some great constructive criticism...somethings I hope to take to heart...

I will try and step up...Specifically it has been suggested that I:

As the "head" of this thread you are responsible for
being the storyteller. This not only includes choosing the story
lines which will occur, but also setting the scene. You are
responsible for writing out, in GREAT DETAIL, everything the
people would see. Describe the structure, the amount of
people within. How it is built. How it is decorated. What
amenities it does and does not have. The area around the
structure, etc etc. You see.... the people in this story only
know what you tell them. They can only interact with what
you tell them. They are limited by what you allow them to do
through your descriptions. ALSO included in this setting is the
time period. You need to very obviously state what time
period this is occuring in. Such things as electricity and....
god.... "lap dances" are non existent. As well as many other
things. You need to make sure people understand this
BEFORE they are allowed to post. These types of innacuracies
not only ruin the Suspension of Disbelief but make you, as the
thread originator, and all the other wonderful writers look
foolish.

Watch for some changes...

A couple Decisions

My fellow players,

I have made some decisions...I will be doing a couple things in the next days...as my traveling allows.

1) Editing some of my past posts to put in more details to clarify roles.

2) Moving the story forward more slowly to allow for more character development....now that the basic framework is there...

3) I will make more specific assignments and details to those assignments...I will try to be more specific and demanding...a barbarian cheiftain....I will post here or by PM...
