Rosie had just reached out to pick up her silver hair brush when she felt a set of hands grabbing her hips and a strong body pressing against her. She let out a gasp, ready to scream when Edward's familiar voice reached her ear. She quickly turned to look at him, her eyes wide with alarm as she gathered her robe close around her throat.
"What are you doing?" She hadn't ment to sound so harsh in her question but he had startled her in an unguarded moment. "I didn't think you were coming until Friday evening."
She usually had clients lined up all night but that evening she had decided that the Duke was enough. In fact, she was sure that Edward probably could smell the other man still lingering in the air. Rosie suddenly felt self conscious about what she had been doing while she had recently promised him that she would try to stop.
