Hi everyone,

Unlike many of my well-respected co-authors, I unfortunately do not have the knack of writing an enticing opening. And I have to warn that this thread will be rather heavy writing as well.

I am looking for someone with some knowledge of game theory, and possibly a Economics major. Looking to spar a little intellectually, and bring in the most important element - sex.

PM me if you fit the bill and are interested. We'll work out the story details later. It will basically be a series of dating scenarios that could revolve around two or multiple characters, that will focus on strategy and game theory. That means lots of story background, possibility of failure, and a rather time-consuming commitment in all.

The only thing I could think of to entice you is that I don't expect frequent posts. :)

:kiss::kiss::kiss:

Oh wait there is a reason why this is an OOC thread. Silly me.

Just post here. Don't have to PM me. Sometimes great ideas come from different people bouncing things around. Of course, playing with me with involve lots of bouncing. ;)

I didn't realise I had posted this many years back!

Anyway, I didn't manage to find any takers back then. The basic premise is that every event in the story needs to be based on a game, whereby characters respond in a manner that reflects their expectation of what the other party would do (reasonably), while considering one another's payoffs.

To be honest, every time I walk into a bar on a friday evening, it feels like a game. So we're really playing this all the time. I just wanted to bring in some of the economics technicalities to make it a little more fun, admittedly, for me.

I'll make it worth your while though, in other ways. ;)

I would love to read more about your Friday nights! Checking out different guys, trying to estimate what kind of pay-off they'd might give you? :)

Great idea of merging internet perversions with some intellectuality! Break out the textbook when logging onto lit kind of thing...

i think i would like to play your little games too. You sound like you have a fun quirky mind just like my own. Just what sort of games are we talking here. Things like those old dating shows, the lady gets three questions and the guy tries to answer it with as much sexual inneuendo as possible to attract her attention?

I'm open to all (wait, I should say most) scenarios, so I don't have a specific sort of game in mind. Sounds like we can get multiple thread ideas here - even if it wasn't my initial intention to do so. :)

P.S. I really love wombats.

Well,
I havent played the dating game in a while lol

But i think it could be quite interesting!

hmm you could even go into those type of minute to win it game shows, or who wants to be a millionaire type deals. Answer questions get a sexual favour try to make a safe level were you can bank it. Say first level is a blow job. Second level is sex. Grand prize is all three holes or something like that.

Game shows might be fun in a way that the rules are clearly defined, so the expected strategies and payoffs are easier to derive.

Though in reality, like the article suggests, things are often more complex as well. This is more challenging, though I'm not entirely sure how this will turn out either.

In any case, I'm quite happy to start a thread with any (or all) of you. Though multiple RP player threads can get a little messy especially if we log in at different times of the day etc. Logistical nightmare.
