Not enough to buy a good pair of shoes

Unfortunately true. That's why I spray my feet with black lacquer--dirt cheap and easy to keep shiny.

Don't apologize. Wardrobe malfunctions are more entertaining than the average Superbowl game, as are...

halftime commercials ("Louie, you are one sick lizard.")

quack quack...or as we say here in French...coin coin :D

At the risk of getting off track, possible long-winded, I have to relate an anecdote. An ancient priest whose "autobiography" I once ghosted was telling me about his experiences in a poor parish in Paris during the 1930s. It seems that many people referred to priests as crows because of their black cassocks, and that kids on the street would warn the neighborhood of their approach.

"Little children would make crow calls: 'quack-quack-quack' everywhere I went," Fr. Louie recalled.

My theory is that French crows are either multi-lingual or suffering from species crises.

I think that crows here "caw" rather than "quack" ... but it's hard to hear them over my wildly barking dog who goes nuts when they land on our front lawn. I'll pay more attention tomorrow and report back ... :) 'night all!
