The Economy

Here's some great "money news" apparently Jim O'Neal, deputy secretary of HHS is sending out demands of repayment from sponsors of "immigrants" whom have accessed taxpayer funded benefits 😁 apparently this law has been in effect as far back as 1996 but during the Biden reign of terror/looting this law wasn't enforced (imagine that🙄)
Sponsors whom signed form 1-864 affidavit enter into a legal binding contract to reimburse the federal government if the immigrant uses social programs such as, Medicare, snap, ebt, ect..... so at the present these "sponsors" are on the hook for thousands of dollars each🤣.....that they will/ must pay back ..... anyone care to take a guess at some of the names of sponsors on the list? Hint....hint a certain federal representative out of Minnesota?
This is fucking glorious....... just fucking glorious 😁......

I’m glad the GDP grew, but why do you post pics of articles instead of links?
WSJ is paywalled and many people complain about paywalled links. I’m not surprised you would be among the first to whine. lol.

The headline and chart summarize the excellent news. Anyone interested in learning more can find further details in the numerous reports available from multiple news outlets online. Enjoy.

Posting pics of article headlines is weird. Just admit it.

About the headline in your pic … is increased spending on healthcare “excellent news” or is it further burdening of people and the economy? Is it “excellent news” that spending on automobiles surged due to people taking advantage of EV tax credits that Trump eliminated?

You're asking a drunken idiot to decipher things other than pretty pictures. This is your fault 😎

“A lot of people are saying that BabyBoobs is a gaslighting POS who purposefully misrepresents the FACTS in evidence on EVERY issue”.

😑

We. Told. Them. So.

How sweet. The Grinch Bothers are vomiting over a strong GDP report that exceeded expectations by a full percentage point. Nothing spoils Christmas more for you ignorant losers than a robust domestic economy powered in large part by consumer spending, with highlights that include a large spike in the services sector (healthcare, recreational, restaurants, hotels), exports up 8.8%, and durable vehicle recreational goods.

It all translates to a big ass lump of coal in the stockings of you miserable fuckers. 😂

Merry Christmas 🎁 🎄🎅

It's up from the shitty previous report.

You're a pedo supporter.

Poor RockHead. I said the GDP report was good news, but you dodged answering questions about the pic you posted.

About the headline in your pic … is increased spending on healthcare “excellent news” or is it further burdening of people and the economy? Is it “excellent news” that spending on automobiles surged due to people taking advantage of EV tax credits that Trump eliminated?

Left-wing predictions for the GDP 3.3%, Reality under Donald Trump 4.3%. In fact Trump has outperformed the macro trend forecasts 94% of the time.

Your nightmare before Christmas is clearly haunting you.

Your nightmare before Christmas must really be haunting you. 😂

Yes, the termination date for government EV subsidies did help drive up automobile sales. Even Evil Elon got a 4.7% bump.

Ford sold 85,789 EVs, their best EV quarter ever. You know what other Ford products sold well? Gas powered vehicles! Over 240,000 trucks along with over 305,000 other ICE vehicles.

GM sold 710,357 vehicles, of which 10% were EV models. Woo hoo!

And yes, healthcare services accounted for almost eight tenths of a percentage point to the excellent GDP numbers. Not terribly surprising considering that healthcare services typically contribute about 18% to total US GDP. The aging US population and DeluxAuto’s heavy use of mood meds no doubt help explain the.77% contribution to quarterly growth.

Cheer up. It was a great quarter. Watch some Hallmark movies and if they don’t help, Die Hard is a classic Christmas movie that lifts spirits all across the country this time of year.

Remember when deporting illegals wasn't fascism, locking up violent criminals who aren't white wasn't racism and Bill Clinton wasn't a Nazi for being well to the right of where Trump is now???

Yea.....I miss when Democrats weren't insane communist who hated the USA.

You dont get it: continually resorting to lies and absurd distortions IMPLIES an acknowledgement of Democrats' superiority (or u would present facts)

These billionaires you love, btw, gonna screw u good at every opportunity. Strap on the E-Meter: u same as those Scientology kooks

Better than expected GDP. 4.3%

I'm not going to complain about that.

Being on the inside and seeing a ton of people packing up their shit often these days, I'm very surprised. I wonder how people's savings accounts are going these days.

But again, I'm not going to complain about good numbers like this. I'm also not ready to celebrate them as all other signals are showing some ominous signs.....mostly from ground level

I did present facts. That's why you got so triggered.

How?? It doesn't hurt me one bit if other people get to keep more of their money.

I don't depend on the government robbing people who are better with thier money than I am, in order to exist.

That's a major reason why I'm not a Democrat. :D SCientology is a hollywood/lefty elitist new age cult for Democrats....another reason I'm not a Democrat, you guys hate deciples of Christ.

The poll of likely voters by InsiderAdvantage shows 50% approve of the job Trump is doing while 41% disapprove, with the remaining 9% undecided.

Tariff's on Canada's Aluminium Sure Do Protect American Workers (sarc)

We import 90% of our aluminium. Canada looked at the Trump tariff's and made a rational position - they pivoted to Europe to sell aluminium without the political drama....

American buyers are now bidding for a shrinking supply pool and prices are up.....

America's message to suppliers is that it's now a high-risk market and suppliers are pivoting elsewhere, taking this new risk into account.

America faces a critical shortage of Aluminium....

Canada has quietly diverted massive shipments of aluminum away from the United States and straight to the European Union.

America Ran Out of Aluminum Overnight

What happens when the United States suddenly loses its primary source of aluminum? In this video, we dive deep into the economic shockwave caused when trade relations with Canada hit a breaking point. Featuring analysis from George Will, we break down how a single policy shift caused American aluminum supplies to dry up "overnight" and sent market prices exploding.

Is this the result of failed protectionism or a necessary trade war? Watch to understand the complex dynamics between US manufacturing, Canadian imports, and the soaring cost of raw materials.

Trump is Destroying American Family Farms and the Agricultural Industry

Iowa farmers are facing an impossible decision. They've just harvested the biggest soybean crop in state history - 53 bushels per acre - and they're going bankrupt because of it. China has purchased ZERO soybeans. Normally, by October, they've bought 300 to 400 million bushels. This year? Nothing. The trade war shut down Iowa's biggest export market overnight. The math doesn't work anymore. Corn costs $4.22 per bushel to produce. It's selling for $3.96. That's a 26-cent loss on every single bushel. Soybeans cost $11.15 to produce. They're selling for $9.40. That's a $1.75 loss per bushel. Iowa farmers are losing $100 per acre on average. Some are leaving crops in the field to rot because harvesting them would lose even more money.

Farm bankruptcies doubled in three months. 88 Chapter 12 filings nationwide in the first quarter of 2025, up from 45 the year before. Iowa filed the second-highest number in the country. The Iowa Soybean Association projects $1.5 billion in losses this year. That's 25% of the entire state's soybean revenue - gone. Hansen-Mueller, a major grain dealer, just filed bankruptcy. They owe hundreds of millions to farmers who already sold them grain. Now those farmers aren't getting paid. Equipment dealers haven't sold a single combine in months. Tractor sales down 13%. Combine sales collapsed 48%. John Deere dealerships are laying off mechanics. Parts suppliers are watching customers disappear. 80% of surveyed farmers believe we're heading into another 1980s-style Farm Crisis. During that crisis, Iowa lost 110,000 jobs. Hundreds of farms went under. It took decades to recover.

This time might be worse. One eastern Iowa farmer reportedly took his own life. Lance Lillibridge calls it a "train wreck for U.S. growers." David Weaver got denied an operating loan for the first time in his career. When farms fail, entire communities collapse. The equipment dealer closes. The seed supplier goes under. The local bank's loan portfolio fails. Main Street empties out. Young people leave and don't come back. This is the systematic destruction of American agriculture. Once these multi-generational farms are gone, they're never coming back.
