By the look on his face, Debi could tell that Shane was totally at a loss. He knew that she'd been up to something with Matt but didn't know exactly what. It was eating him up inside. Furthermore, he was jealous. Sure, he loved his finacée, but Meghan was a good girl and Shane was still hot for the sassy naughty girl that Debi still was. Because of Meghan, Debi was off limits to him, but she was not off limits to Matt. He stood there like a dork with the pole lamp in his hands and Debi was loving every minute of it.
"Hey," she winked quietly, conspiratorially, knowing that it would gnaw at him the whole time (and probably afterwards and tomorrow too) and he wouldn't be able to say a thing with his soon-to-be wife around.
"Where do you want the lamp?"
"I dunno, next to the TV stand?" Debi shrugged.
"Really?" Meghan's face scrunched. "I think it would be better in the corner next to the couch, she suggested as she stepped and pointed.
"You're right," Debi smiled apologetically. "You're just so much better at these things than I am," she gushed. The two of them looked at Shane to do the work of placing it and plugging it in.
The toilet flushed. A moment later, Matt entered the room looking a bit pale as he straightened out the collar of his shirt. Debi crinkled her nose at him and he blushed, but Meghan was too busy admiring the lamp to notice anything at all.
